I feel like there's so many things to criticize that I can't choose 1

Funny. He left Cuonzo with a lot more than he's built for himself.

Well, after 6 years I would hope so. Now, 2011 sucked but a first class is almost always going to suck but he's retained 2 guys from that class. Even Bruce Almighty had a stinker class in '05. Tyler had committed to Buzz and decided not to attend UT and Jumont Gordon went to MissST instead. He was basically left with Ryan Childress as the star of his 05 class. The only guy from the 06 class was Chism. The '07 class was Tatum and Williams. Both of those guys proved to be good contributors but no star quality. Hopson and Maze in '08, Hall and Goins in '09, Golden/Tobias/McRae in '10. '10 was easily his best recruiting year. Unfortunately, Tobias decided to play a year and leave and Hopson left after 3 basically leaving Cuonzo minus the two top scorers. Cuonzo on the other hand has managed to retain almost all the guys he's recruited. He only has McRae/Maymon left from the Pearl day's but still stands at 16-10(7-6) in his 3rd year and had to miss a year from Maymon, had to dismiss Golden. I think he's done ok so far considering.
