I still hold strong that if Tn wins out then Tn is sitting good. 2 of the top 4 play each other in the last game of the season. One will drop below us in rank. And fingers crossed TCU will go down also, which will give TN another spot in the top 4 it can work with.

The Playoff Committee regularly leapfrogs a winning team with a lower ranked team with a more impressive win. Us playing 3 loser teams to end the season while the PAC contenders all play some top 15 teams almost guarantees the committee will leapfrog us with one of them.
Now, if they all lose and TCU loses, sure, we’re in. But don’t think if everyone wins we get in because we’re 5th now and one of OSU/UM has to lose so we automatically move up is how the committee has traditionally operated.

No I don’t need you to educate me on who to root for. I root for the VOLS and only the VOLS.
I cannot and will not root for bama ever. Nor any other SEC team, unless they are playing bama or gators.
This season has already exceeded expectations, just win out and and let the chips fall where they may. GBO!

We need these to win today.

Alabama over Ole Miss - to give Ole Miss a second loss and Alabama will stay a top 10 team.

LSU over Arkansas - to remain a Top 10 team

Texas over TCU - give TCU a loss so they drop in the CFP poll

In the big picture you are right. But for me, I don't think it makes a tinkers damn what happens to us or any of this type observation. I don't think we will be going to the play off regardless of what happens with others. To many opportunities for
attractive games and broad nation wide interest than just a southeast dominance.

You can start by rounding up all the Trolls and fake fans who were picking those teams to beat us back when we played them. Hell, some could teach the class.

It doesn't matter. UT doesn't want to get in the playoffs this year. The defense is not good and would be embarrassingly exposed. Missouri is hanging with us. SMDH
