The offseason Volnation board was getting pretty boring. I think the upcoming season was kind of, Meh. But now every game will be an adventure, and the time between now and the first game will be a terrifying rollercoaster.

With the inexperience guys we have at skill spots it was going to be like that with Nico or not imo.

But now we may be looking at a true freshman starter and Tennessee native in George Macintyre. That’s a lot of youth.

Deasean Bishop and Star Thomas at RB are the old guys out there and we will need those guys and Peyton Lewis to run that rock!

If Merklinger and Macintyre are anywhere close it needs to go to Merklinger, who can scramble. We need someone with a more aggressive mindset than Nico and Joe. I can live with some mistakes, but we need to get that killer instinct back.
Which can still be a lownkey individual of course. Hendon was a cold blooded and efficient assassin

As a fanbase, we have been conditioned to expect drama and maybe even want it. At some point, we have to learn that no drama is often a good thing. Just keep getting a little bit better each season and you reach the top.

It is a little shocking UT doesn't have a senior WR on the roster. Brazzell is a R-Jr and then 3 or 4 other R-JR that you never have heard of. After that you have Sophs and Freshmen.

He may end up being great somewhere else but i had my doubts he was ever going to put this team on his back and carry them. He wasn't going to run 10-15 times a game and stay healthy, slow at reading defense, didn't see wide open receivers, overthrows. He was going to have take a huge leap this year. May be part of the reason he left. This pressure cooker might have been too much.

I wanted to see him develop under Hype.

I kinda hate the kid is gonna have a wasted career.
