This team had a good winning streak going that put us into discussion for the tourney, when we weren't even considered a few weeks ago. No "who cares?" about it. Y'all expect flawless, and that's not how it works

Like you said, this team can still win the SECT. I'm just pissed at some of these "fans" today. Sorry about that.

UT had a great winning streak, and a game like this was probably going to happen soon. Good thing it isn't in the SECT.

Not really.. His problem has always been consistency... If the Vols don't get themselves a point guard this off season Counzo might need to find himself a good realtor.. Golden is too up and down to depend on for a full season..

I hear what you're saying. I don't expect flawless myself. But I do expect a leader in my PG. when Trae has a bad game his attitude goes down the drain. And being 0-10 is pretty bad, especially since several of those were down the stretch when we needed points. If he's not hitting, he ca still create for teammates, get it to McRay, have enough awareness to know you are sucking. But once he starts pouting his teammates are the furthest thing from his mind. The pouting and moping is infectious.

I agree with you, I'm just not surprised Trae had a game like this, honestly.

And a lot of these posters are justifying my hate for the fan base.

Based on our SECT history, we have no expectations when it comes to winning the SECT. I was 17 years old the last time we won it.. That was 34 years ago!!

Doesn't shock me either. I wish Martin would have benched him for 4-5 minutes. Actually, I was screaming for the entire team to be benched with 2 minutes to go in the 1st half. Not a better way I've found to wake up a player/players than to bench them for inferior players. If they don't respond, leave their ass over there. What's it gonna hurt?

Yeah, the bench should be utilized more often. For McBee, especially.

0-10 and one point. Amazing. I'm sure Trae feels horrible. I doubt that was his intention going in but it happens. Bad day for SEC bubblers UT, Bama and UK. Just hope we show some grit and finish strong. Just we because we blew it doesn't mean we can't show some character in the last two. Hope CCM gets their collective heads right.

This is a typical overreacting Vol fan forum. I understand Trae needs to step up and work on his consistency, but really guys all of this "sky is falling, we may not even make it into the NIT" stuff is getting old. According to a lot of mock brackets we're in, so can we just shut up and wait out the rest of the season?
