After the spanking they got from USC they can quit complaining about not being in the NCG.

Glad they lost, so we do not have to hear how they deserved a rematch, for the next 25 years. Second best team my a$$.

Despite the fact I picked them to win the game, it is nice to have that "yeah, well, they're still #2" talk stopped immediately.

USC will be scary good again next year. Their defense is very impressive.

picked USC based on Michigan's less than stellar pass defense, and USC's overall D strength. Had a feeling Booty would have a good game.

I couldn't decide on who to pull for. I hate both teams.

USC doesn't appear to be as overrated as I thought they were.

I was surprised when they were talking about USC's inexperience at WR next year that they didn't mention Turner. I'd imagine he'll break out with Smith's graduation and Jarrett likely gone as well.

IMO, Michigan should have been playing #4 LSU.Playing a 2 loss team ranked # 8, is not much motivation.USC also had the home filed advantage as well.

That was probably the last time they won a bowl game. Nevermind that had the BCS been in place that year, they would have been thrashed by Nebraska.

Colin Cowherd described it best when he was talking about the Pac-10; it truly is the Pac-9 in that USC is the only real step-up program, in that every time they step out of conference, you really see the best the Trojans have to offer. That's why Pete Carroll is running far and away the best football program right now.

Did anyone see Gameday with Corso and Herbstreit today. Saying that if Michigan destroyed a #8 USC and Florida barley beat Ohio State that in the AP poll voters should give the National Championship to Michigan.

I was speechless at how stupid, how just stupid and Big 10 homer style of a comment that was. I lost alot of respect for Herbstreit after he said that. He is truely a Big 10 homer in every sence of the word.

When will (some)UT fans stop living in 1998?

I am listening to the Herd on EPN Radio and they have only had 2 Michigam fans call in. He is begging them to call and email.:eek:lol:

I can't speak for everyone here, but I ceased living in 1998 sometime around 12:00AM on January 1, 1999.

USC is the second best team in the country.


They should also drop the PAC-10 and become independent like Notre Dame =)

Why would they do that? USC IS the Pac-10. It's the only west coast program that is truly elite in a historical sense.

exactly... they dont need the pac-10.... the pac-10 needs USC.

USC had the most quality wins of any team this year - bar none.

Dwayne Jarret is the next T.O. he is a great receiver but has so much attitude... he's so annoying.
