Maybe put him more along the lines of a Keyshawn Johnson. He's got some attitude, yeah, but TO has mental issues. TO's problems are a whole different ball game.exactly... they dont need the pac-10.... the pac-10 needs USC.
USC had the most quality wins of any team this year - bar none.
Dwayne Jarret is the next T.O. he is a great receiver but has so much attitude... he's so annoying.
Calm down man... Don't deal out crap every time a college athlete showboats. To expect everybody to just go out, do their jobs and keep quiet is completely unrealistic.
Why? Because we have allowed a bunch of pampered thugs, punks, and jerks do what they want because they are good at sports? What is wrong with expecting some class? I have no problem with showing some emotion but the basketball shot celebration is played out and you can celebrate with out taunting players on the other team
I have to question someone who can't seperate showboating and true thuggery. Why? Because we have allowed a bunch of pampered thugs, punks, and jerks do what they want because they are good at sports? completely agree.
and as for Carroll's team acting with class: since USC is ND's biggest rival, im very familiar with them... last year when ND almost beat USC, Carroll publicly complained about the grass being too long (anyone remember all of the stories about that leading up to the game this year?).. and after UCLA beat USC.... guess what fescue discussions began to arise from the USC locker room....
Carroll's teams have always appeared to have class b/c they always win... but when something doesn't go their way, they whine like little kids -- remember Leinart's post-Rose Bowl interview: "They won but we are still the better team." classless.
I don't blame Leinart for wining... He had to learn to deal with losing. You have to realize he played at Mater Dei, a program in Southern California that loses on average about one game every other season. He's learning to deal with it now that he's at Arizona.Leinart whined, but Carroll was very gracious in defeat. He probably wasn't too worried. He knows he'll have another shot at an NC before long.
Mack Brown won't leave terrible coaches on his staff. He'll also go out and find another superstar like Vince Young that will get him back on top. Fulmer stopped caring about those things after 98.
