I would probably instantaneously combust with joy.
Imagine Pat being in the stands and Holly bringing her the net she just cut down.
Imagine turdbreaths face and his sycophant hag assistant having to congratulate us.
I know, I know, the odds of us beating them this year are nearly astronomical.
But, hey, our men's team came back from the dead with a 20-2 run last night.
Miracles happen!!! :clapping:

I'm generally a pessimist about UT basketball and our coaching, but if we were fully healthy--Russell, Jones, Harrison--we could give them problems, and if we had DeShields too it might be a battle royal, depending on chemistry, shooting, etc.

UConn has some serious talent and is very well coached, and they have at least two bona fide scorers. We have none. Next year might be interesting--but our guard play must get better, and I hope that next year our offense doesn't consist of everyone standing around watching DeShields. What is great about UConn's offense is the way the pass the ball and the way their scorers operate /within/ the offense--they don't force shots and there is no standing around while their best players go one-on-one. That is a big reason why their assist ratio and shooting percentage are superior.

They are beatable. They acknowledge last year's team as better and they looked really shake in their early NCAA games. This year they have had droughts and occasional turn over itis.

I sure want to play the team that stole Maya Moore next season.

They are beatable this year. Hope UT gets them in the NCAA Tournament next season.

If Maya really wanted to come to Tenn she would have, regardless IF UCONN offered her any incentives. We have Diamond now, so let's thank the higher powers for that! Lol

Tennessee fans posting pathetic messages about dreams they had of beating Ucon is kind of pathetic. You are acting like you think the Lady Vols are some pathetic basketball program.

Show some self respect. The Ucon fans are either Laughing at you, or feeling sorry for you.

I think they've been doing both of those things for awhile now, dreams or no dreams. Next year Tennessee becomes a true threat to their dominance and it's about damn time.

You guys should be pretty good next year. You'll have the horses anyway. Should be 4-5 good/improved teams next year.

Depending on how Russell returns. May take a bit for everything to gel, especially if you end up using Cooper as a Freshman. But DeShields can cover up a lot of problems and win a few close games herself.

ND is going to be really good next year too. Loyd, Turner, Reimer (who's starting to come good), Allen is pretty formidable with another year under their belts. Good class coming in too.

SC will still be good, but not sure how much better than this year. See how big a jump their FR class makes to their Soph year.

Maryland brings most everyone back, but doesn't add a lot. (not sure how great they are this year, guess we'll see next couple of weeks)

Baylor should be as good (again not sure how good they are this year) if not better. Only lose their post Agbuke, but bring in 2 highly ranked posts in Brown and Mompremier. Along with Johnson, Wright, Davis and Prince.

However, as much as these teams improve/bring back, UCONN brings back 4 starters, along with a proven post and a great FR class. Not sure anyone is going to be able to beat Stewart as a senior, and she'll have plenty of help.

But, next year is gonna be a great year in WBB. :pepper:
