Lofton...you may have crossed the line with Burt Reynolds..

A wise friend once told me "You know it is going to be a bad day when you wake up and everybody that you hate is still alive"

You may be right. Burt isn't that bad of a guy. It's just that in my eyes he should have quit after Smokey and the Bandit. He peaked there and should have just went out on top.

My brother in law married into a KY clan and his kids now sport that hideous crap during basketball season only. I tell them every chance I get, in front of their whole clan, "perform poorly enough in school and show no discernable abilty whatsoever, and KY might be your only option."

I married into a KY clan. Fortunately, I was able to convert my wife to the light side early on. Her family, sadly, is still bound by the chains of blue.

They actually thought it was funny to give me UK crap for the baby. There is nothing funny about UK crap.

And I would proudly put my baby in it for trips to the tractor pull, flea markets and mule races.

You all might hate "Big Cuz," but the boy can ball.

So far in this thread we have "Ole Cuz" and "Big Cuz", so which is it? Neither are any good but I'm just trying to figure out which one you guys are going with here.

And, unfortunately for us, yes, yes he can.

Nah, those guys go to Louisville. Except for when Tubby was around, he loved kids who had no ability whatsoever. Brandon Stockton, JP Blevins, etc etc etc.

I'm sure that Tubby would have have passed on JP or Brandon if he could have signed better players.

Yeah, well I"m sure Bill Clinton would have passed on Monica Lewinsky had their been hotter interns available. To say Tubby took those players because they were the "best available" at the time is nothing but an indictment on his part.

"If" is a terrible word.

Terrible in what sense? It was terrible to sign those players, for sure. I'm sure that Tubby signed them to fend off the stupid old-guard fans that demanded a token Kentuckian on the team. Chris Lofton would have been nice, Tubbster.

My statement IS absolutely an indictment. Except for a couple of classes, his recruiting was sub-par for the University of Kentucky.

That said, the ship has sailed, and I wish him the best...at Minnesota.

And I'm certain that there were other interns that we don't know about. ;)

Agreed with all.

And Ole Bill is probably still banging some of Hilary's interns right now. Though probably with her approval, to keep him out of the way.
