If there is any justice in this world Alabama will lose...they should have never been in it last year, so they deserve to lose this one. ND has been irrelevent for so many years its nice to see them build that program up again. It should give UT fans hope that great programs will never be down forever. Go Irish. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I'll tell ya this. I can't stand Notre Dame. They think they're the best thing since sliced bread. They have gotten so many lucky breaks this year and I truly don't think they can beat an SEC team like Bama.

Now as for who I will pull for, I will have to pull for the SEC team. Lets hope we make it 7 NC's in a row.

Would love to see how the demographics of this question break out. For many of us who live outside the south (for example military) we constantly have to hear people bash the SEC. I think regional pride is extremely important. I also bet many young people dont understand why they should hate Notre Dame. Im a VFL but Roll Tide on January 7th!

I'll take a million ND victories before one win by Alabama. Take any ego from ND fans, then add tree poisoning and the most corrupt program in NCAA history in the mix, then you get Alabama.

Hate both teams but my hatred for Bama runs deeper than my hatred for ND. I would never ever cheer for Bama. SEC Pride is vastly overrated. A chamionship for the SEC does not equal a championship for Tennessee. I'd cheer for almost any other SEC team in the title game except Bama(and florida). I am glad that ND didn't lose last week because we would have had a Bama/Florida NC....I would have drank myself to death if that had happened. Buck Fama!

Really? You are going to attack me with explatives and question me as a fan because i have an opinion. I was stationed in Alabama for three years and have several friends that are huge Bama fans. They are some of best people i know and they share the deep rooted passion for college football that we do. Unlike here in Las Vegas where i have to constantly get berated by people about how the media loves the SEC and SEC football is soooo overated. You dont have to share my opinion, but i think i will refrain from calling you names when i dont even know you. This board amazes me sometimes.

I didn't call you a name I'm cursing those words you said...I LIVE in bama have plenty of friends that are bama fans and plenty that graduated from there...and i'll say again no true vol fan would ever say those words ever!! under any circumstance

Wow, some of are fans are just classless. Always, always pull for your conference! One of my good friends is a Alabama fan, great guy. Hell, My cousin married a UGA grad, great guy. Im pulling for the SEC. Nice to know, that once again, another conference can NOT claim the National Championship this year!!

Fellow VOLs fans, I live 2.5 miles from the ND campus. Let me tell you those who are rooting for the Irish just because you hate Bama something. I would rather root for Bama to spank the Irish than have to sit in this area and hear how over rated the SEC is and ALL the teams that play in the SEC are a bunch of *ussy teams compared to the Irish. Irish fans think that if you dont root for the Irish you have brain damage and should be locked away.
Irish fans are the rudest, nastiest, and most are the most uneducated you will ever meet. So Roll Tide, Show the Irish how real football is played. Make it another 25 years before the name Irish is seen in the top 25 again.

You sir, need to move to AL for a few years. As bad a you may think you have it there, you have never experienced rude, nasty, and uneducated until you spend some time among the Tide and Tiger fans.
