I hate to say this, but…

Outcoached by the most boring, unskilled rival coach in a while. Milton had no clue what the plays were going in, there were so many audibles that the Gator fans ate 'em up to burn TOs or take false starts. Undisciplined with no coaching gameplay going in, this is all unexcusable. And I don't give a good got-dang if it's a Gator QB, you don't ever hit a QB kneeling like that. It was low class thug behavior and I have to be really honest here, Heuple taking that time out I believe encouraged it. Why is he taking a TO right there? He sure as hell milked that clock before the other before the half and burned all that time off! Heupel looked lost the whole game, more than Milton did. But that bully thug behavior on a kneeling player is not representative of classy Volunteer football!! Man up!
He wasn’t kneeling he was rolling around in the pocket, you do that you get tackled.

Crazy to think pili might've been the leader and not Beasley. So many times Florida caught them out of position with movement
100% Pili was the guy setting the D in camp. He's the MLB, he's the defense quarterback. Beasley is the talent and the guy you want to just play loose and not think too much. We are missing Pili.

Yes we played bad Milton looked really bad BUT the refs were awful the 4 so called penalties broke our momentium every time The one ref on the florida side called every one of them. Bet he had Florida plus 6. The SEC needs to look at this, when the broadcast crew points it out four or 5 times something is wrong. This game was FIXED>

We just lost to Graham (cracker) Mertz , can’t believe we lost to Billy Napier. This is not a good Florida offensive team . We should have stacked the the box and made that dude throw all game.

Yeah the offense sputtered and dug their one holes with penalties but it’s the Defense’s job to get off the field. FL was 7/8 on 3rd down in the first half. At least once was 3rd and a mile and they converted.

Play calling was abysmal and the defense woke up too late.

Besides the flase starts, none of those penalties were legitimate penalties.

Nah, I think it’s our actual offensive identity. There’s always been the flashy offense, explosive play type of team or philosophy. Eventually defenses figure out how to stop them or just has the team with better players one on one. Our WRs seem have taken a back seat.
No one is taking the lid off the defense and teams are just crowding the LOS..

Like clockwork every single year, our fans diss the Gators, their coach (now Napier), and boast of how easy we should win this year's game. The week ahead of the game. We barely beat them in Knoxville last year when we were 11-2 and they finished 6-7. But we have fans who were ready to predict a national title after beating a weak Virginia team and struggling to beat Austin Peay. You can see it coming every year and you want to strangle them, but they never fail to raise expectations to new heights of unrealistic outcomes and result in utter disappointment for everyone.

Our play calls were so cringe worthy that I looked forward to the silly Dr Pepper commercials to cool down.

Florida played well. They were well prepared and well coached. Tennessee was NOT.

If this game was not fixed there has never been a fixed game.

Don’t disagree Pili played fast sideline to sideline and freed up Beasley and the ends. I’m not saying leader but he created for the others to shine with having to be accounted for. Herring is lost and playing 3 steps behind.

Which is weird because Herring was playing so well the last games he was in.. just weird

Pili wasn't here last year and our defense was better than it is this year. I do think that his experience was missed because our very young LBs are not yet up to snuff without some leadership on the field.

It was a stinker for sure. Even good coaching staffs have one every now and then. Let’s see how they respond. Heupel used up some goodwill tonight for sure.
This is the reflection game to make changes in personnel. I’m all for Joe succeeding but seems they are holding back the offense with his inability to to either read a defense or inability to check down his reads.

The game was as bad as it looked. A total clusterf**k on everyone's back. We are not going to win with Joe Milton at QB. He left Michigan when he lost the starting QB job. Two games at UT and he was replaced with Hooker. This is up to JH to turn this thing around but it is not going to happen with Joe at QB!

Two constants in UT Football.
1. We always play poorly in The Swamp.
2. Any UF quarterback with an unremarkable collegiate career up to this point will look like a Heisman candidate against us.

Yep.

Napier definitely had the mentally superior team that came out ready to play last night.

Took UT a half of getting punched in the mouth to wake up on defense and the amount of unforced errors on offense the entire game was nauseating.

One loss don’t mean he’s not elite. Tonight wasn’t good, but it happens.

It's not just a loss. He was waaaayyy out coached. The team wasnt prepared. Couldn't tackle!!!! Penalities. Milton is not the guy. Sorry I wish he were. This is a really poor reflection against a FL team that's probably not very good

Very poorly coached team. I thought we might have finally found a great one. Elitw coaches dont have that happen.
Really. You mean like Saban last year against Tennessee when he left time on the clock for Tennessee to score. Or when he got time added back on against Auburn and they returned missed fg for the win.
