I have a feeling

Serious note. We aren't beating Kentucky. I see 2 wins at the very best, 1 being probable.

^ This guys got it.

True that.

I've been here all year. Not leaving if a loss happens tomorrow. I'll have some trolls to bash and the inevitable "Bruce Pearl never missed the NCAAT" thread.

Is it likely? No, I would agree.

But this team still was the closest out of anybody other than Indiana to beat them.

We are better since then also.

I'm not saying it's probable, but it's not that impossible.

Wish I could feel confident about this team on the road. Or in the SEC Tournament for that matter. Will always be tough for me. Just take it one at a time. Fresh slate as well under a new coach.

We're not beating UK. Only chance we would have is at home, and even that didn't happen.

I have a feeling that Kentucky isn't going to lose a game until some time late winter. I HATE it, but it doesn't change anything.

So since winter ends on Saturday, are you hinting at something or just being ignorant

The game that scares me is tomorrow. If we come out ready to play and not flat, we will be fine. Supposedly CCM wants vandy on Saturday. According to mike Griffith, that NIT comment didn't sit well with him. If we get to Sunday, we have nothing to lose. We would pretty much be a lock for the big dance. Anything is possible. Like maymon said on the Vol diaries, "we are here to win three games. One, two, three.". This team has done nothing but surprise us for the last two months. One game at a time.

Did you speak with Mike down there or read this somewhere?

He was on the news sentinel sports page with Vince F. yesterday. No link, maybe they have a podcast up? It was in the 10 o'clock hour. He was funny about it. Vince said something about it being hard to potentially have to beat Vandy twice. Griffith laughed and said something to the effect of "Let's just say CM would love to play Vandy again.". He went on to reference Stallings comment. You could tell he didn't want to say anything CM directly said in order to not provide bulletin board material.

It brought a huge smile to my face. I have been worried all week about having to potentially beat vandy twice in eight days. It made me feel better that CCM wasn't happy about stallings, same as VN. I wouldn't bet against CCM. He scares me, in a good way.

I agree with you, and it almost brought a smile to mine, but im too sick to feel like smiling. I feel better about our chances now as well assuming either of us are good enough to get there. Btw: do you remember the score of the game when we played ole miss?

I had to look it up. 73-60. Feel better goat. The team needs you to be yelling through the tv tomorrow. Go Vols!

I know we have to win friday and sturday, but this team has definately proved that they can win games.

But, if we make it to sunday against the Cats, I have a feeling we win this thing.

Call me a pansy if you want, but if we beat the Cats for the SEC title, ill cry. :cray:

Stranger things have happened. Im drinkin the orangeaide too.:peace2:

I would be thrilled if they found away to beat Kentucky.

But what if by some chance the Cats dont make it...

Wasn't the UNC at rupp game a 1 point game?
I could be wrong.
