I heard the OL was practicing throws and running routes

Foster has a school record of 650 rushing attempts in his career here.

He fumbled 5 times. That is an average of once for every 130 rushes. He played here 2005-2008, so that is 1.2 fumbles per season.

His grand total of 5 fumbles over 4 years happened at memorable times which is why people love to say Arian Foster fumbled the ball so much.

Wish people would do their own research and not just perpetuate the crap they read here all day.
Maybe you should too. While I will agree Foster was not fumble prone and one of UT greatest backs, he fumbled more than 5 times. He did only lose 5 fumbles USCe '05, PSU '06, UF '07, UCLA '08, and AU '08 all of which except Florida could be credited to his untimely fumble losing the game. I think it's 7 total fumbles IIRC.

Foster fumbled at the most inopertune times as well, that's why he is remembered as a butterfingers. Not because he fumbled so much.

I've been happy with our rushing game 5.4 yards per carry average. The main reason this team hasn't played better on offense is bad passing 164 yards per game. Most of it has not been the O lines fault. A lot of bad throws and a lot of dropped passes. I think were averaging 5 drops per game and not even a stat on how many wild throws the QB's have made. When you getting 164 yards passing per game and giving up 240 your probably losing. We need about 250 yards passing and we'll win today.

Thanks for the info. Did not know that......his fumbles were usually at critical times. Some of his runs also there was an effort lacking on his part.

May have played hurt but who knows. At times he played like it.....

Fumbling at critical times matters though....I never understood Arian whining about fans complaining about it. Don't wanna hear the complaints? Hold on to the rock!

I did appreciate his time here and wish things had gone down differently with him. Frankly, we "coulda shoulda" won a lot more games while he was here.

Then again, we DID do pretty well in 2006-2007 while he was here, but sucked arse in 2008 when he was a senior. You would think he could have carried the team a bit better (though I mostly blame that season on Clawson). So it's a mixed bag.

It's too bad he had to shoot his mouth off...
