I hope Chris Johnson tears both of his ACLs

either way, since you have to take all he's already done when making career comparisons, to say anything along the lines of "Britt's better than Wayne at the current moment," is still stretching it

Which is more realistic?

Garcon > Britt ----or---- Britt > Wayne

By the way, I don't think Britt is better than Wayne but it is the more favorable comparison of the two.

I wouldn't go that far (Britt over Wayne), but it's not as far-fetched as people make it out to be, especially if you actually watch them play on the field.

As posted earlier, former scout Matt Williamson said that Britt was the player that jumped off the film in the Titans-Colts game--a game that Wayne and Garcon obviously played in

and it has to be one extreme or the other why? Ive been saying that britt being better than Garcon makes sense

but saying Britt better than wayne's too much at the moment

You're right, I was dabbling in hyperbole with the Britt/Wayne comment. I'm not saying Britt deserves to be mentioned as a peer of Wayne. However, Britt is more explosive with the ball in his hands than Wayne and is a much more dangerous threat at this point in his career.

Britt's warts are that he's a threat to miss time due to injury or suspension. He's a mental dumpster fire. You don't have those concerns with Wayne, and Wayne has established himself.

Britt has elite talent, though, and that's pretty clear. If he stays healthy and on the field, he's a perennial Pro Bowler. Big "if", though.

Wayne is overrated, but he's good. Collie is very good. Garcon sucks, which is what I said from the beginning.

Seriously, if I were you I would stop before you lose so much credibility that you enter utgibbs territory permanently, but if you really want to keep digging yourself a hole and hoping you'll come out in China feel free to let me know where anything in any of these posts is wrong:

Since I've noticed you stop responding when someone makes you look silly.

You post someone's opinion. I don't care what some guy from ESPN thinks. Britt has done nothing. Does he have the potential to be better than Garcon yes, but as of today I take Garcon over him. Garcon has over achieved and Britt has under achieved. Make no mistake, Garcon is this team's 4th option. Let me know when Britt does something.

It does not have to be one extreme or the other. I was just pointing out the two comparisons that were addressed in this thread. I clearly stated that I don't agree Britt is better than Wayne.

Nice copout. So what was wrong? Is Britt not fast? Does he not have good hands? Is he not strong? I'm asking you specifically where the opinion is wrong, but you have no idea because you know absolutely nothing about him aside from stats.

And then there are the other two as well. Does Kerry Collins not lead the one dimension of your one-dimensional offense? Does Garcon not drop more passes than all but three guys in the entire league? Those are called facts, my man.

Britt has had 225 yards and 3 TDs in one game. What's Garcon's best game?

You all are a joke, and I am the homer here? Britt will never come any where close to Wayne's numbers.

Considering Britt is 10 years younger, I would probably take him as well. Especially if ole Peyton was my quarterback.

Britt has not underachieved. He's been in the league for two years.

He is big and strong, Garcon is way faster. So he has one good game and now he should go to Canton?

It helps to have a Hall of Fame quarterback throwing the ball to you for your entire career. If Peyton is out for signifigant time this season I guarantee Wayne's numbers this season will be a fraction of his numbers from '10.

Dude, we need to just let this thread die

I don't feel great at all about the top thread in this section of the board being one wishing career ending injury upon a play, regardless of where the discussion might have shifted since

we don't need to do that OP any favors by drawing attention, views, and replies to what was a stupid as well as horrible thread to begin with

Size - Britt
Strength - Britt
Routes - Britt
Hands - Britt
Consistency - Britt
Speed - Garcon, along with Darrius Heyward-Bey and Yamon Figurs

Pierre is better how exactly?

I also want to make it very clear that while VFJ keeps asking what Britt has done, Pierre Garcon has accomplished exactly jack s***.
