I hope Jay Graham gets to stay.

Ok as I stated on my second post on this thread even tho the way it was typed it came out as me saying that Tee Martin was a possibility for our next coach. Let me correct myself so that everybody can take a chill pill. I MEANT to say that Tee Martin is very likely going to be the wr coach FOR the next head coach.

Hope Jay Graham sticks around as well. He's been a shining light on a dysfunctional staff. The new coach couldn't do much better than Jay Graham. I hope he sticks around and gets the opportunity to coach backs more in the mold of a Stewart, a Henry, a Foster, or himself. He's quality whether he's coaching a Lattimore or a Neal.

Where do all these folks get their info when they say 'everything points to... or what I have heard...' Is it simply reading earlier threads/posts from others and then taking that as evidence? Inquiring minds want to know....Here's hoping Graham stays as the transitional coach for whomever is the new HC.

I know this has been posted before but I hope Coach Graham get to stay. He is Tennessee and he is a great coach and a really good recruiter. I have heard that Tee Martin is a very likely choice for the next head coach. Hopefully if that head coach has faith in one Tennessee Alum he will have faith in another cause from my view Graham is one of the best in game. Look at what he done with Marcus Lattimore. GO VOLS :td:

Yes Posted by yours truly 6 days ago----but dont worry about the merge Police, they do it SELECTIVELY. Huh Mods? lmao

The only coaches I believe will be retained are Graham and Sam Pittman will be the only two coaches even close to staying. Graham's a former Vol, not a Dooley guy. Hopefully, his job will be safe

if gruden gets hired will he release graham? i think he would be stupid to do it. graham is a vol for life, a great coach and recruiter. i don't think there is a better rb coach in the country.

NO WAY!!! Graham has to stay. He can't go anywhere. I think he's pretty untouchable at this point.

1) He's a VFL
2) Our runningback were much improved since last year
3) He's a great coach

Well not to sound harsh...but If Gruden is hired I dont care what he does! If Gruden has a guy in mind them i would be fine in letting him bring that guy in.

Gruden or not, Graham has to stay. He has shown yet again that he can coach... Not just from last year to this year, but our RB's showed tremendous improvement game to game.

The ONLY person that will make that decision is our next Head Coach.

I'd like to see Graham and Pittman both stay but the HC will hire whoever he wants on his staff and that's just the way it is.

VFL...GBO!!!

That's the way it used to be! Now, the next head coach will sign up for VolNation and post a poll before any decision.

I talked to a guy in the Ath Dept yesterday and Gruden NOT coming! We offered an enormous amount of money, but he shunned his nose at it. We are moving on in our efforts to find a great coach. This is true, but doubt if you wish. I wish he was coming too, but he is not!

He will stay and he will get a lot of credit for a top 5 recruiting class.

You need to do a little more research. We may get a new Athletic department as well.

I agree that all assistant jobs are up to the HC, but I would seriously question the quality of any HC that did not try to retain Graham (and to a lesser degree Pittman).

Not just Graham, but the OL coach should stay IMO. Some continuity is needed. Just look at the 100% turnover in our defensive staff this year, or the 3 OC's in four years that Crompton had...
