More than any sport, I'm a fan of the NBA. A sport where coaching doesn't matter. The best players always win. I thought overwhelming talent always wins out in sports. But I found out football is different. Coaching carries far more clout. And when you have someone as incompetent as Butch Jones, he can drag down what should be a championship team based purely on talent.

My mistake for applying NBA attributes to college football.

There are people in this very thread who have stated they have trouble buying UT tix for SEC games. If the tickets are just going to sit on your desk then PM one of them and offer up the tix.

Providing someone a chance to experience Neyland will be a great return.

Real fans aren't blind to the fact that they are a small part of the machine. That machine will not work if you continue to support. We must all pull all support of Butch, cause he sucks.

To support the players, you must NOT support the coach!

Real fans are tired of losing with a loser coach who couldn't coach up the boy scouts.

Waste of talent, waste of time, waste of resources, waste!

If I am being totally honest I love any moment I get to go and watch Tennessee play. I want them to be better I think all of us do. I would love Tennessee never lost a single game. But I also know that the only reason it's fun to win is because I know losing is possible. I'll never give up on Tennessee. And I'll take any chance I get to go to Neyland Stadium and spend the day with my wife and dad.

I understand that some of you don't think you should spend any more of your money or waste any of your time watching Tennessee play. I completely respect your decision.

However me going and supporting the team doesn't make me a bad person either and I'm really excited to go down there. It's going to be a 20 hour round-trip drive from me I don't dread one minute of it.

First game for said wife will be a disaster, Muschump has Botch Jones's number. And Muschump sucks. Botch sucks more. Our 4 and 5 stars aren't being coached, so I expect a big fat L.
Players aren't even supporting Butch, why the heck would I? Fire him, put in any interim coach, and I'm I'm singing a different tune.

Coaching matters in every sport, maybe a little less in the NBA than others but not much less. Why do u think guys like Red Auerbach, Phil Jackson and Greg Popinvich have so many championships, the players? Well, Red did have Russell and Cousey. Pop had Duncan, Robinson, Manu, Parker and Leonard. Phil had Jordan, Pippen, Rodman then Kobe, Shaq and ...... hell, hate to admit it, but u may be right, coaching may not matter in the NBA.

If the fans leave and don't support the team, then the players and recruits will leave and then I don't care how good of coach you have, you will never be able to build a program.

Why would anyone ever want to come play for a program that only supports them when they have the coach they approve of? Guess what, the recruits will not come. Some how by bashing our program and not supporting the team, you think that will some how mysteriously elevate our program?

The administrators will do their job if required and if they don't, then fire them but support the team.

Ill be there. The wife and I are taking the 430 sum mile trip South! We wait all year for this and we always have a great time! Can't wait to take the boy someday he's 10 months he's got a little bit to go yet.
