The Foster hate is overdone for sure….but so his this statement above. Statistics do not always tell the whole story. I don't think Foster cracks the Top 5 in All Time Great TN RBs in most people's opinion.

Statistics are the one thing that don't lie and aren't bias. 2nd highest leading rusher at a top 10 college and a great NFL player. That's really all that needs to be said or seen.

Look at his career number of starts vs. other great UT rb's and I think Foster had much more opportunity to get higher total yardage. I could be wrong but I'm guessing his YPC wouldn't rank as high.

Uh oh are they saying Hurds gonna be as loco as Foster?

Hurd is smart. Will make better decisions and should not be knocking up ladies outside of marriage. He is a good kid. There is no mental roadblock to stop him from being much better than Foster. He may have a physical one though.

Running behind a completely rebuilt OL.

You're expectations may be a tad high.
I don't think so. I always thought Jackson was a better OG than Bullard. I don't expect there to be much dropoff at LT, with Blair being here already. Weisman seems to a pretty good replacement for Fulton. My only question is at C and RT. I don't know if Crowder is an SEC caliber C, or if Kerbyson is an SEC caliber RT. Guess we'll see. Coleman Thomas might have something to say about either one of those spots.

As for Hurd, his injury allowed him to avoid a lot of the hype that would have followed another season like his junior year. Nevertheless, I wouldn't trade him for Fournette and Racean Thomas together. I can't recall a time where I've seen a recruits highlight tape like his. It looks like something from a Hollywood script....and I kept waiting for a red cape to pop out from under his jersey.

Just one unbelievable run after another...and I thought this was the case before he ever committed.

probability and statistics say that you are overestimating a freshman's potential in the sec and underestimating what 3 years can do for an athlete in an sec program.
