we lost two big starters (even though we now know Harrel will play) and if you look only at the score it looks like we played poorly against AF. Most people think the Pac 10 is weak, they just can't say so on air all the time. Heck, i'm not surprised people are picking Florida. I disagree with them, but i'm not surprised.

the AF game put the question back in to everyone's mind, is this team for real or not? week one...wow! week two...huh?

add the injuries...and UF's impressive blow out wins (no sign of a let down last week against UCF on thier part) puts them in the minds of many as the favorite.

jmo. and keep in mind, before the season started, they would probaby have been favored by more....

When Justin comes into the game and with Inky watching on the sidelines, I think a lot of the prognosticaters will be saying "Oh crap maybe I was wrong" when they hear the Volnation in the stands!!! :angry:

The gators are favored, plainly and simply, because of Urban Meyer. After all, the guy has never lost a football game, and in all likelihood, a Meyer coached team will never lose a football game. He is clearly the greatest coach since Steve Spurrier (the one that was at Florida, not the one that was at Washington.) Meyer himself is worth at least 42 points just standing on the sidelines, and he has recruited the world's finest highschool quarterback in Tim Tebow, who is worth another 14 (also standing on the sidelines.) Meyer has also brought in the best-ever recruiting class in the sec, with is worth an additional 17 on reputation alone.

All totaled, it is an extreme compliment to our program that we are only 3.5 point dogs.

The point spread, and all the "experts" (I don't see any on tv, the internet or in magazines...) have Vols as dogs only because of the Air Force game. Alls they know is we only won by one, and lost two defensive starters in the process.

In discussing Tennessee around here, nobody even had the faintest idea that Air Force actually went out there and ran an option game that would make Tom Osborne proud.

Still, it is a little shaky that we still won by one point... The facts are the facts. I think we, as a fanbase, are also a little too quick to write that game off to USAFA's execution of the flexbone.

It has to do with that Spurrier/Meyer/Division III Utah success stuff...not to mention the Chris Leak (Never lived up to the hype and now a little success against inferior competition has everyone goo-goo eyed) spurning the Vols stuff...not to mention that favoring Florida over us is usually the norm...not to mention that we are talking about people who, if they knew as much as they think they do, would be coaching or running major corporations, but they sit and yap out their "so-called" expertise...wow!!!, I have worn myself out...wonder what they are going to say when we "swamp" the gaaaaatores???????

So, Harrell is back....no movement in the line or attitudes.....I learned long ago not to bet on the UT-uf game (sorry ma :post-4-1090547912: ) but dagnabit! (family words) I just don't see a uf win here. Not saying gators are bad (after all, it is the SEC) but I just think that UT has (and has shown) enough talent to warrant a little more respect. YO! COACH SUPERIOR MOVED TO SC!!!!!!

All, of course, IMHO!!!!
