Until UGA beats a meaningful team, I will never buy a 12-0 this year.UT, Mississippi State, and UK are UGA's only remaining obstacles to 12-0. Three games in a row. They get UT in Athens, then travel to Starkville and Lexington. I'd like to think UT has the best chance of those three, but the game is in Athens. So I'll go with MsSt, UK, and then UT in order as best chance to upset the Dogs.
Next year in Knoxville our best shot at UGA in a while.

Oregon had a quality win last week. They have the 7th most talented roster in CFB per the 247 team talent composite. They aren't nothing. I agree with the aspect of your response that we have limited information 4 games in to know who is really good and who isn't.It’s not as if Ga has played big games thus far. Oregon was supposed to be. The others haven’t.
-Beat an overrated OregonGeorgia will crush everyone on their schedule and be 12-0 going into the SECCG. They will crush Alabama and be 13-0 going into the Playoffs while Alabama is knocked out of the Playoffs with a 11-2 record.
Honestly is it their fault the East sucks and that Auburn has gone to hell in a hand basket? OOC they are playing Oregon and Georgia Tech this year; Clemson and Georgia Tech last year; Notre Dame and Georgia Tech the last non-COVID year before that. They schedule as aggressively as any team in the SEC.It's their defense and their schedule. They don't play Bama. Look at their schedule. Except for MSST, UT, and UK, who can match their talent?
It is what it is.
Look at their 23 OOC. Yeah, they’re aggressive schedulers alright.Honestly is it their fault the East sucks and that Auburn has gone to hell in a hand basket? The SEC made them cancel Oklahoma next year, just like they did us in 2024. They had Oklahoma and Georgia Tech scheduled next year. They have Clemson and Georgia Tech scheduled in 2024.Look at their 23 OOC. Yeah, they’re aggressive schedulers alright.

Things will get interesting if GT hires Deion Sanders in December
When's the last time we played more than 1 P5 team OOC? 2003? Tech has sucked the last couple of years but they were always competitive under Paul Johnson, nobody wanted to play the triple option. It's why we cancelled on Army.
Oh they sure aren't playing well. I just don't think that's it's fair to act like they won't try to play tough games OOC.Let it go, brother. You're taking this in a whole new direction. My point was that there are only 3 teams remaining on UGA's schedule that have a legitimate shot, and I'll stand by it. I'm a UGA fan 364 days out of the year. I watch all of their games. I know flat when I see it, and they are flat today.
UT has / had a much longer road back to champonship form than UGA did after Richt. Kirby has done great things at UGA, and it ain't over yet. But this year UGA has the inside track to 12-0. We'll see what they are made of in the SECCG, and the Playoff.
Well...unless UT derails them. Long shot at best.

I would love it if there was some way that Tennessee only played Alabama once every four years in the future. They opened against Oregon. Good enough for me. Most SEC teams play one legit opponent out of their 4 OOC games. Some more, some not. And since the OOC schedules are usually set years in advance, it's a guessing game anyway.
I expect that to change some when the SEC goes to 16 teams. I expect four 4-team "pods", and a 9-game SEC schedule. SEC Championship might be the top two teams, regardless of "pod". With only 3 OOC games, and a grinder of an SEC schedule, I think most SEC teams will play 1 P5 opponent at most. Maybe 1 P5, 1 G5, and one doormat.
Interesting to see how it plays out.
