Go take a jaunt across the internet messageboards for rival SEC teams and you'll come to the realization that pretty much every fanbase hates Tennessee with a seething passion. So, I say eff the other teams. I used to be all about the SEC in bowl games, but the superiority of the conference has now been proven and accepted nationwide. No need for it anymore.

florida fans were pulling against UT last night---no love lost between SEC teams.

from year to year and game to game i change my thoughts but always a good day when florida and bama lose. Depending if other teams beat us that year then I wish bad on them for ruining our season. If we beat them then I usally cheer for them.

Let's show some of the same class Eric Berry did earlier this week. His point was that you want to beat up your brother but you did not let others pick on him. After just watching that moron Brent Musburger swoon about the Big Ten after the Rose Bowl, I am not quite ready to stop supporting the SEC. However, it would not bother me to see Urby take it on the chin after this week's activities.

I'm not a big fan of FL, but I usually pull for them against other teams just because I like Tebow's effort. He worked harder as a freshman than any of our junior/senior QB's did the last two years. Our whole team could really learn from this guys attitude and work effort.

I *always* root against other SEC teams. I hate other SEC teams. All of them.

Cincy will likely get crushed, but I will root like heck for them to win.

I once pulled for all SEC teams in bowl games. That habit stopped back in the 90's. There is way to much said against the Vols. Can't stand the other teams in the league no matter who they play. If it takes another team in the SEC, other than UT, to make the league look good, I had just rather the SEC look bad.

i usually say "pull for the SEC during bowl games" but screw that this year. we're off to such a bad start....i hope FL & Bama lose but i doubt they will

There is a lot of "hate" on this board. I am sure most of it comes form getting all your information about the other side on fan forums. I have been lucky enough to tailgate at most of the other schools in the SEC and have never had a bad experience. We have won and lost some of those games but the "hosts" were gratious in every way. Even when my wife broke her foot at the Florida game afew years ago, the fans came to my rescue and we were helped back to our hotel without incidence. If you want to cheer for a team, fine. Don't cheer against anyone. I am proud to say my kids never booed the opponent or the Vols, can you?

Exactly. I'll root vehemently against the majority of SEC teams.
