OU has a freshmen thats making some noise. Will see how that ends up, but overall not to bad. Why can't we schedule a cupcake out of conference bcs team besides Oregon or Oklahoma. Lol probably wouldn't be as fun to watch

Lame. I'm proposing that the people of Tennessee and the Cro-Magnons of Alabama band together for this one sublime purpose: irritating everyone else. Why should we be constrained by a calendar? We are Tennessee and Alabama. We're above it. Or, at least, we are, and we need you people to act like you are too. For once.

Act like you're above sucking and we'll think about it.

I like the whole schedule except for OU. Next year's team is not likely to be ready for that challenge.

Wont be as hostile as Oregon this season - Okies always manage to choke a game they are favored in.

Looks about the same as this years schedule just the names have been changed to protect the innocent.

We get Georgia early, with the ever-present possibility that they will still have some key players suspended.

We get Florida after having already played a key SEC matchup.

We get Vandy at the end of the season, which used to be so much fun. Not sure how that stacks up with Thanksgiving weekend, but that would be nice. EDIT: This is Thanksgiving weekend, which always makes for a cool game environment for me and my lady since we actually have time off, can make it to a ball game, and we always agree on this one since she went to Van-durr-bilt.

It looks really favorable to me. Am I nuts?

Not to mention GA will be having to replace Murray. Like UF not being our first SEC game. That schedule is brutal but to be the best you gotta beat the best.

I know, I know... I'm a heretic... but I would like to see both divisional games go to rotation. It is profoundly unfair for UT and UF to get Bama and LSU while USCe gets Ark and UGA gets Aub (up and down more than the other two).

Ideally, they would add two more schools and go to 4 divisions. UT, Auburn, and Bama could be put into the same division. I could see it like this (using hypothetical teams):

UF, UK, UGA, USC
UT, Bama, Aub, Vandy
Ole Miss, MSU, LSU, TAM
TCU, Ok ST, Mizzou, Ark

Or just scramble it like the ACC did and forget about geographical continuity.

Duke, NC, NCST, UK, GT, Lou, Wake
UF, UGA, USCe, MIA, Clemson, FSU
UT, Bama, Aub, Vandy, VT, WV
Ole Miss, MSU, LSU, aTm, TX, TTU
Mizzou, OK, Ark, OK ST, BAY, TCU
KSU, Neb, Iowa, Col, KAN, BYU

That should do it! Six division winners and two wild cards for the SEC Championship game (7 games total, revenue through the roof).

That second division would be a slaughterhouse!

Just for fun:

BC, RUT, PSU, Pitt, Mary, VA, Syr
OSU, Cincy, MI, MSU, ND, Pur
IN, IL, Northwest, WI, MN, ISU
Duke, NC, NCST, UK, GT, Lou, Wake
UF, UGA, USCe, MIA, Clemson, FSU
UT, Bama, Aub, Vandy, VT, WV
Ole Miss, MSU, LSU, aTm, TX, TTU
Mizzou, OK, Ark, OK ST, BAY, TCU
KSU, Neb, Iowa, Col, KAN, CSU
AZ, ASU, UT, BYU, Nev, UT ST
uscW, UCLA, SDSU, FSU, Cal, Stanford
OR, OR ST, WA, WA ST, Boise ST, WY

Twelve division leaders and 4 wild cards for a 16 team playoff. Make it happen! Put the other teams in a separate NCAA sub-division so they can have their own championship.

Nowhere close to looking like this yrs schedule. Completely different and not many similarities.

That would be your opinion as we start out with two non conference games same as this season. We play at Oklahoma this year at Oregon. We play exactly the same SEC schedule except we replace Auburn with a road game to Ole Miss. Home for this years road games and on the road for this years home games. Then we have Chattanooga instead of South Alabama. So tough road game at Oklahoma instead of Oregon. Other non conference opponents about the same except Utah State a little tougher than Austin Peay.
