I love coach Martin!

I just don't see how you can feasibly leave out the 2nd place team in a big-6 conference, especially when Vandy and UF are shoe-ins despite possibly finishing behind us. Hell, they even said MSU is in according to Lunardi (which doesn't mean much) and they're 6-8 in conference.

If we're 3-1 vs UF and Vandy, plus the schedule we've played (unfortunately Pitt and UConn haven't lived up to their billing) and are left out I'd love to hear the committee's explanation. We can't afford to be 1 and done in the SEC tourney though.

Imo, the vols need to win out and at least win 2 games in the tourney to have a good chance.

I love that when we come out of a timeout it looks like we have a play drawn up that when executed puts us in a chance to score... nice change

For accuracy, we called 2 TO's in the final possessions of regulation and got two horrible shots.

I like how CCM is instilling toughness and discipline. This team has definitely IMPROVED and PROGRESSED during this season. This is something we just did not see under the previous coach. Generally, the opposite happened.

In all fairness... I was very disappointed with BOTH play calls in the last 90 seconds of regulation. The weave was stupid IMO and Maymon going 1 on 1 20 feet from the basket is not the best we can do (although we could do worse).

Getting Maymon or Stokes a catch in the post is what we needed.

I agree with you. How we finished the second half of the season, plus second in the SEC, they have to take us even if our RPI is borderline. Beating Vandy then winning 1 game in the SEC tourney then losing to Vandy or Florida would make it too close.

bama would have been #2 last year, and they were left out...

Coach Martin has made me a believer! Love the way he has the team playing and believing! Love the way this team is playing! Go Vols!

I only hope that Martin doesn't underachieve. I could be wrong, but it seems like he has the qualities to potentially be an elite coach. I hope it happens, and I hope it happens with us. Can't wait to see what he can do next season. GO VOLS!!

He seems very committed to staying here for the long haul. Could be wrong, but I don't think he leaves us. Jmo of course.

Dude knew that there was a good chance his alma mater was going to open (when Missouri courted Matt Painter) and he basically he didn't care, this is where he wanted to be and was suppose to be.
