I am proud of our guys, they hung on and didn't quit. I think if Worley would have gotten the start maybe it would have been different. But who am I to judge, i can only speculate like the rest. I believe in my heart CBJ will get us where we need to be but it's gonna take time . He's no Dooley so quit comparing him, butch gets it and will get us back to relevance. Till then I will support these hard working boys of fall... Go vols

This team did NOT quit today, they played hard, we need work but that's simply what happens when you have a group of guys that haven't received proper coaching for a few years.

Just going to take awhile longer than we hoped. I hoped this would be turned around overnight. I see my expectations were unrealistic.

4 championships in 6 is all we as fans need to look at for hope. Butch gets it and will get championships back to Knoxville in due time.

Quit talking about Worley as if he is the answer. I agree this team did not quit, I agree we have a coach who "gets it", we need a qb for the future, Ferguson or Dobbs, if not them recruit someone else. I don't care who's ego we crush, get a qb who will get us where we should be. I am tired of excuses, show progress, move forward.

The offense needs to put together drives that keep the defense off the field longer. Last years strength(offense) is this year's weakness. Butch probably should have made the switch to Worley sooner but he wanted to give Peterman a legitimate chance to prove he deserved more playing time. Be patient! CBJ will get the job done when he gets a couple of good recruiting classes.

Defense is getting much better compared to last season. We just need more quality athletes....but after last season it seems like a major step up.

As for the offense....if Worley plays the whole game who knows never will. But it is obvious Peterman was simply rancid.

The only thing I know is Butch ain't gonna fix 3 years of Dooley suck in 3 games....believe that.

I actually saw several positive signs tonight. Worley actually got a little bit into a rhythm near the end of the game. Unfortunately he threw an interception trying to throw the ball out of bounds, but Pig Howard, Marquez North, and Jason Croom were all showing some positive signs in the second half.

Off topic but very positive.

My 14 year old son has one on one lessons with the number one kicking coach in the country next week. That's right James Wilhoit coaching my kid. Posted this before the game. Phase one of my kid will wear orange is a go!
