It seems fitting for the discussion, has any one ever heard that the white middle class is the most oppressed people in the USA?

Someone please let me know if this is not true but I believe I heard that 90% of black people were voting for Obama? Can you imagine the shouts of racism by the black community if 90% of white people were voting for McCain?

Democrats usually get somewhere in the neighborhood of 90% of African American votes if I'm not mistaken. They actually have them believing they are looking out for minorities!

My favorite line in the article was:

"When Cecil E. Roberts, president of the coal miners union that shapes politics in much of this mountain region, talks to voters, he tells them that their choice is to have "a black friend in the White House or a white enemy." When Charlie Cox, an Obama supporter, hears friends fretting about Obama's race, he reminds them that they pull for the nearby University of Tennessee football team, "and they're black."

Not to get into the union debate, but honestly, does the union members really have to be told who to vote for??? I mean shouldn't they know by now that they are supposed to punch the blue ticket everytime because they shouldn't think for themselves and we all know that the democrats are for the working man (sarcasm turned to 100%).
