I Need Your Input

Post 5 Mulligan drivers before the season for just in case you forget to post. I think that is an excellent idea. Maybe not as many dropout at that point when they forget a race.

I like the idea too, but think five might be too many to keep up with. I still like the idea of dropping the lowest one or two scores, which would cover you if you forget to post or have computer problems. It allows you to not be knocked out of contention by one of those really bad days.

I wouldn't need to miss a week or 2 to knock myself out of contention. I do a good job of that just by making sure I pick my drivers.:)

I like the idea of dropping the lowest two scores.

I have an item to donate to the prize vault, if you are going to do that this year.

if we drop the two lowest scores, we'll have no way of knowing who is really winning through out the season.

I could post the scores with the two lowest ones dropped each week. Would mean a little longer getting results up.

There would have to be an Excel code if you use spreadsheets to automatically drop the two lowest numbers from each column. If I knew more about Excel/spreadsheets I would know how to do that. I work on Excel every day at work for various reports but don't know it enough to know what that code would be.

I suggest renaming the contest in honor of Dick Trickle. Or have a Dick Trickle award. Or somehow work in the name Dick Trickle.

What's a spread sheet?

Don't have time to learn or set it up - I would just simply keep track of each person's two lowest scores, and adjust if a lower one is posted. Then just subtract the total of the two scores from the gross total. K.I.S.S. is my mantra, it will be a piece of cake.

A spread sheet will do it all for you. Do you have exel on your computer? It has colums and rows that you can enter data in. It does all the calculating for you.

If you'd like me to set a spreadsheet up and keep track of it this year I'd be glad to help. Its not too time consuming at all once you get the initial data in there.
