I understand your point, and agree with your post up to the last, bolded sentence. Pearl has some size, he rebounds and bangs, and he tries. The fact that we have to give him meaningful minutes, though, is a large part of what is wrong with this team, either because we don't have anyone better or because the guys who should be better aren't getting anything done.

I agree with what you say EXCEPT, Pearl is a lousy rebounder.

You really think they would have gotten to the Final Four, or even the Elite 8, if only they still had Tyler Smith and Eman? Duh!! CBP has won a lot of games and revived this program. He deserves much credit. He has not, however, stacked the roster with the talent needed to make a run deep into the dance.
