A KY fan a $20 bet that we beat the Cats in Rupp next year...

And he didn't take it. Said he wanted to "see what other recruits they get and who comes back for another season."

I was shocked.

I'm high on the prospect of our team next year, but still realize that we should be underdogs in this game. But I still think we get it done.

We were both talking up our programs and I decided to spice it up a little bit. Can't believe that he would hesitate. I told him the offer was on the table until the season started.

Smart friend you have. Shabazz should announce for UCLA tonight, and Noel may very well be going to Georgetown. That's two big fish that Calipari whiffs on.

Pickings are slim from then on.

Truth. I witnessed first hand this year. We didn't shoot a single free throw in first half and all those retards were cussing the refs. I think they shot around 13 or more. Refs are scared to call objective game up there. I literally was one of maybe 5-10 in orange not counting the guest behind our teams bench.

I told my chemistry teacher (A UK grad) the same thing. I bet her 20 points on a test or a ten page paper next year in her class that we would beat them in rupp. She declined, and not because she was against it (we already had a bet for the tourney and such)

A better bet would be to bet a Vandy fan that we sweep them next year since they have 0 returning starters...

I asked her again today if she'd wanna bet on us winning in Rupp next year. Not just any team winning, but TN.

She smiled and said "I'll wait to see how recruiting goes tonight."

To be fair, she got her undergrad at Notre Dame, and her masters at UK. So she's only half horrible.

Well UK got Noels. I think that means he will take the offer. I realize that he has the upper hand, but everyone loves an underdog.

I live in Kentucky so I get to listen to the obnoxious rednecks everyday. Made the same bet with people at work and they won't do it. You should have seen all the hate towards shabazz, I was like you guys were all high on him and now you're sour you couldn't buy him. I also bet $20 they won't win it all again.
