I pledge allegiance to Barack Obama...

Personally, I think its a bit of a reach to try to equate this celebrity endorsement of Obama as somehow denigrating the Pledge of Allegiance.

I don't see it as denigrating the PoA. I see it as a weird, and somewhat pathetic, oath of fealty to Barack Obama.

Weird and pathetic I can buy. I don't find it weird. I just find it kind of pointless. I can't imagine that anyone votes for POTUS based on who Jessica Alba endorses. I think its kind of dumb for her to think anyone cares about her endorsement, but that's really just a reflection of her inflated sense of self-importance. not of anything else, imo.

most actors and actresses live in a fantasy land anyway....their lifestyle is so different than everday folks they no longer grasp reality.

Agree with this.

Love it or leave it, buddy!

I do love it. I just don't want to pledge blind allegiance to it, especially when pledging allegiance means I am agreeing that it is "one nation", and "indivisible". It's a sweet piece of propaganda....written by an avowed socialist.
