For not being a douche. The guy was a grade-A prick in his time at Memphis, but now he seems to have a more classy attitude. I used to hate and disrespect UK; now I just hate them.

Congrats to the Cats, and I look forward to kicking your ass next season. GO VOLS!!!

Cal spoke well of Coach Martin all season so kudos to him; glad an SEC team was able to bring home the title.

I will say this about Coach Cal. I honestly think that as a fan base, a lot of people might be wrong about their assumptions of him. All I have seen this season is him speak highly of our new coach, coach the hell outta some freshman kids and get them to play team ball, and raise the level of the SEC. Not to mention his hair is so slick.

Cal will never change. He is a destroyer of teams. Enjoy it while you can but eventually you will understand my animosity towards him.

No offense, and I don't want to sound like billy the bad ass here, but it's not real hard to tell Davis to rebound and dominate. I mean the dude gets his hook shot whenever he wants, and he's a natural rebounder/shot blocker. Top that with the return of Terrence Jones and Kidd-Gilchrist coming in and you're set. Great, talented players make good coaches look great. When Cali takes a team of three stars and 2-3 4 star guys to the NCAA finals and win then I'll say he's a great coach. Cali is a great recruiter/motivator that has enough knowledge of the game to get NBA ready players to play a system that basically sets one on one plays to his star players. It's not hard. It's not complicated, but it's 110% effective.

Still a renowned and proven cheater. Don't respect him, but give home props on recruiting great talent and having a roster with 6 nba caliber players. That takes work and skill but I still think a top 20 coach out coaches him every day. It just takes comparable talent to get the job done. Nobody had that this year

Well Mr. Bad Ass,

Heck yeah you can just put his players in one on one situations. However, it takes a good coach to get young kids to play defense. This team was one of the best defensive teams in the country, and played darn hard as well. I hate UK, but this was a good job all around by players and coaches, especially tonight.

I'm not particularly fond of coach Cal, but you gotta give him his props. He beat some of the better coaches this year with a very young and inexperienced team.

Calipari cheated at Umass and cheated at Memphis and hit the road like Pete Carol did at USC. I have no respect for the guy. Calipari is genius at doing WHATEVER it takes to get blue chippers. Having all these one and done players is killing ncaa bball. Ray Charles could have won a title with 5 nba 1st rounders. It's not as fun to watch as it used to be. I almost enjoy girl's bball more..

Have you seen ky play? They are head and shoulders above any other team talentwise. It's not even close. When your team has players way more talented than your competition, coaching is easy.

I miss the days when duke had Hurley and Laetner and most good players werent leaving until their jr and sr year. There is less fan-team connection when good players constantly leave after their freshman yr.

Don't blame Cal for the one and done rule. He's said it himself that he wishes it wasn't enforced.

I do think Cal needs more credit, he's been a classy guy this year.

Calipari will only get credit if comes clean about his violations of him being a complete cheat. Unfortunately this country doesn't want truth soken or you get ounished and therefore sleezebags like Calipari don't come clean. Look what happens to guys who admit past wrong doings. Bruce Pearl and Pete Rose villified instead of praised fr coming clean. Calipari will take his sins to his grave and therefore remains as crooked and criminal as Hitler, Mussolini and Hussein.
