I think Hendon just widened his lead on the Heisman, before he even plays tonight....

CJ Stroud of Ohio State, Hendon's main competition for the little bronze trophy, looked positively lost and confused a couple of times in today's win over Penn State. Just a couple of times, but in those plays he did not appear to be in command.

He also did not do well with time management...lost the play clock. Gave his team a couple of delay of game penalties.

And some of his throws were beautiful, but others were placed awkwardly for his receivers.

Don't mean to over-state the case--he's still a VERY good QB, and did a great job for his team overall, today.

But he sure didn't look as in command, as situationally aware, or as ... just ... talented ... as Hendon looks almost every week.

Let's see how Hendon does tonight; he could sway some voters this weekend.

Go Vols!

He also did not do well with time management...did not keep an eye on the play clock. Gave his team a couple of delay of game penalties.

They’ll just look at the box score. He had 350 yards.

If Hooker plays well against UK and we win comfortably and then at least threatens UGA deep into the 4th qtr , I think the heistman is his . Georgia demolishing UF helps us a lot.

Replay 1997 with another UT QB and a Big Ten player. E$PN loves the Big Ten.
That's not true anymore. The Big Ten is contracted to Fox, while ESPN has the SEC locked up. In 1997, ESPN had an exclusive contract with the Big Ten. They have been pushing Hendon 4 Heisman quite a bit on Gameday.

Agree. Today HH separates from CJ.
