I said it. I'm amazed how Spiller got all of the recognition in that conference and Williams basically got none all season. He's unbelievable.
Can't say I don't agree.
For the most part, we held Ingram down. Williams was able to run on us for the entire second half.
Ingram: 99 yards, one fumble
Williams: 117 yards, two TDs
When Evans went down with a season ending ACL injury in August, hokiefandom was distraught because of how good he was and worried that there was nobody of his caliber in the wings. Little did we know. Now next year we'll have Williams, Evans, Wilson and Oglesby. The challenge will be to get them all on the field. Highly possible that someone may transfer.
You people just watched a guy have one of the best seasons that a UT RB has ever had while running behind a poor O-Line and you don't give him any credit. And how has Bryce Brown been a dissapointment when he's been hurt and was second on the depth chart to a 1300 yard back? :banghead2:Why can't we have a back this good?
B Brown has been a dissapointment so far.
Of course we need a real O line also.
I think you're blinded by your hatred for Alabama.Williams is a better back than Ingram.
Hell, I can name a half-dozen backs on an even par or better than the latest perpetrator of the Heisman charade.
Off the top of my head; CJ Spiller, R. Williams, Johnathan Dwyer, Dexter McCluster, Vai Taua, and Toby Gerhart
The same hokiefandom that boo'ed Gerald Jones when the back of his knee got rolled on, but I digress. Ryan Williams will terrorize the ACC as long as he decides to stay in school
