I think Ryan Williams is as good as Ingram.

I think Hokie fans were booing because they initially thought the injury was exaggerated in order to stop the clock at a critical time. Once the replay showed the obvious injury it was a different story. I've never seen or heard Hokie fans boo an injured player.

I think time will show that Williams is better than Ingram or Spiller. He's fast, powerful, can block, and has exceptional vision. He plays better as the game goes on, and if he makes a mistake he plays with a vengeance to make up for it. He appears so far to be the most talented VT player since Michael Vick.

Just for future reference here's how you can tell them apart.

LOL!!! Great post. But IMO, Suh should have run away with that trophy. He took over and dominated every game I saw him play.

No doubt, Ingram has the hardware. I think Williams will end up in contention for the heisman if things go his way (enough playing time, healthy, etc). He's talented enough.

Can't say I don't agree.

For the most part, we held Ingram down. Williams was able to run on us for the entire second half.

Ingram: 99 yards, one fumble
Williams: 117 yards, two TDs

We had better LBs against Ingram. Frazier and King were available for that game. But Williams is an exceptional back none the less.

I hear a lot of you guys saying he's as good as Spiller and that's all well and good. But do you all remember Spiller when he was a freshman? He was a stud then. And when he was a sophomore he was great while splitting time with another good back. Spiller is a gamebreaker in every phase of the game. And he'll be very successful at the next level.

We don't have any problems remembering Williams.

He could, but you are soon to be inflicted with an outstanding problem. Numerous quality backs.

Keeping Richardson on the bench next season for us is impossible.

It will be difficult for Williams to get the reps as well as Ingram.

The fact that CJ Spiller was not invited to NYC once again exposes the award as a total sham.

Might as well give it to the most visible offensive player on the #1 ranked team every time and save us all the unnecessary drama.

Williams is a better back than Ingram.

Hell, I can name a half-dozen backs on an even par or better than the latest perpetrator of the Heisman charade.

Off the top of my head; CJ Spiller, R. Williams, Johnathan Dwyer, Dexter McCluster, Vai Taua, and Toby Gerhart

Ingram is not an elite back, it will play out over the next few years.

Wow, talk about a quick hook. He's a true freshman for crying out loud!

So is Williams. You know, the guy that just ran for over 100 yards against us.

Brown may end up very good but given the hype around him he has been a dissapointment compared to some other frosh running backs. Williams is a case in point.

The only reason Williams got a shot was because Evans got hurt. Williams is the real deal but i think his carries will drop next year.

Except Williams was a featured back who wouldn't have gotten nearly the carries he did if Evans didn't get hurt. Plus he ran behind a pretty solid line against defenses that were worse on average than what Bryce faced.

Bryce was backing up the player with the most carries in the SEC. He still had a good YPC average, and he did it all with a messed up hip.

Plus, he was running behind 2 walk ons and a redshirt freshman who played OL for like 5 months before the season started.

Give me a break.
