Well you have to allow for our mental inferiority. Can you link a YouTube video so’s we can peruse your time travel expedition that allowed you to physiologically examine athletes 30 years ago in their prime?Doesnt require initial explosive burst with hip dispersion. Hard to explain to someone who doesnt get the physiology aspect of it, no offense intended at all.
Are you kidding me? I didn't necessarily see Kamara as OROY but it isn't surprising at all that he's a good NFL player. I simply disagree that he was "nothing special" but the only reason he was not a superstar in college was because he had an idiot for a head coach who didn't give him enough touches and use him as part of the offense like he should. If anyone on this board says they saw Kamara doing what he’s doing in NFL while he was at UZt, I’ll call them a liar right now. AK was a very good player but nothing special in big games vs Bama, Florida or Oklahoma.
Not as physical, no. Callaway would have had the chance to be the best WR in the nation if you put him in his current state on that team.
There's an enormous difference between "dogging" a player and saying it might be prudent to pump the brakes a bit when making comparisons to legends in the sport.

Let's look at those games you mentioned...in the 2015 Oklahoma game Kamara touched the ball 5 times. 2015 Florida, 8 times. 2015 Alabama, 9 times. 2016 Florida, 3 times, 2016 Alabama, 10 times (he also got hurt in that game). I'm glad you mentioned the Alabama game because remember the game he had before against A&M? 18 carries for 127 yds and 2 TDs plus 8 catches for 161 yds and a TD. 288 total yards (just over 11 yards per touch) and 3 TDs. Remember who started the next game and got the primary workload? Jalen Hurd.
Kamara was criminally underused while at Tennessee. Butch committed a coaching felony. He averaged 6.2 yards per carry and 9.2 yards per catch...that's 7 yards per touch and 23 TDs in 24 games.
You proved nothing. Kamara had very limited touches for the vast majority of his Tennessee career but flashed when he did get the ball. In chances he did get to start or play a lot, it was against inferior competition because he was behind Hurd on the depth chart until Hurd quit.A&M defense that year was hot garbage. You proved my point. Thanks for the stats.
To which game are you referring as far as Chuck Webb is concerned? He played in very few. Personally I think he was the second best running back on his teamBo Jackson outsprints him wearing Keds. He’s so far showing nothing close to a scintilla of the vision of Chuck Webb OR Charlie Garner. There have been plenty of fast backs that never made it big in college...much less the pros. No offense to your abacus, but freak athleticism didn’t make Mike Mamula great...nothing could.
