Been looking all morning and I don't see any Big Name coaches available unless they are on the hotseat where they are coaching now...

Not only do you want to make sure the new coach is better than the old coach, you are in a lot better negotiating position if you are still speaking in hypotheticals and you can get the groundwork for a deal done before you look desperate and have to give away the farm to get a mediocre coach. I don't blame the AD for keeping these cards close to the vest. 1) The seniors deserve to go out without a circus. 2) If you fire him now, you've got an interim coach that's off of his staff and you are just about guaranteed to lose to Vandy and KY. 3) You're now looking for a coach from a position of weakness. Nothing like paying 2 or 3 coaches for not coaching. They need to hit a homerun with whoever they hire and the best way to do that is to properly evaluate (as they did with Cuonzo Martin) and not hire someone because you need a warm body.

LOL Dooley gave our program som stabilization, respect and turned it away from Thug U. When people call me names on here and say "fail" or "stupid" etc...just lets me know what I said wasn't agreeable to their way of thinking!! Don't worry about it...not one person on this board has any influence or direct affiliation with the University of Tennessee's Athletic Dept!! However, every trailer park in Tennessee is represented and I respect that and their opinion!!

Same guy that posted at halftime about grasshoppers or crickets and something about no sound, because Dooley was a great coach and now I am done with him, but I thought he was good and I don't understand how TN could get a better coach and I better post something, but I really do like Dooley...

You just need to start over with a new screen name, anybody that was waiting to post something positive about Dooley, much less could not wait till the end of the game should ban themselves...I mean have you seen the Vols play this year, with Dooley you know they will find a way to lose.

Love will find a way and Dooley will find a way to lose.

so what trailer park is it that you represent. I represent the one that watches football games unlike the one your from. I also represent the ones who care for former players and the tradition of Tennessee football. I know your from neither of these because you supported Dooley and he was against both

I don't live in trailer park, but what is wrong with that? You posted something of epic stupidity, because you loved Dooley more than the Vols. So you have to attack Americans some of them veterans living in trailer parks. A lot of our great fans live in trailer parks and I love them just like all Vol Fans. I don't care for those that defend Dooley right now. Shows a sad state of vision.

Hart realizes that, and is why he has been in negotiations with my wife's dog, Napoleon. Napoleon turned down Hart's offer of 3 million a year with a six year contract, because he wants a 9 million buyout and Hart only wants to give 7 mill. We'll keep ya posted. GBO!

Some of us didn't have to learn that. I posted here then that UT could be getting on the coaching carousel with no guarantee of when it would end.

But by the time it happened, it was absolutely the right thing to do to fire Fulmer.
