Thank you Tobias Harris for getting Jarnell Stokes to come to Tennessee! It is nice having recruiters that aren't on salary doing more than the ones on staff!

If you followed the situation close...Tobias was with Jarnell and his main supporter throughout the whole recruiting process....not a hit on Cuonzo I love him....just trying to give Tobias more cred.

I'm just happy he didn't go to Kentucky or Memphis just because they are bigger programs. Tells a lot about the kid. Does he have to wait till classes start to begin playing or just the turn of the year?

VFL is right about TObias, however, Cuonzo had alot to do with Stokes decision as well. He said as much on a radio interview this AM. Cuonzo's Faith had a huge impact on Stokes because he is a very religious person. He said he knew the frist time he talked to Cuonzo that they were alot alike. Tobias and Cam Clear provided Stokes with the assurance that UT was a great place, but in the end, Cuonzo had to make Stokes feel comfortable in his decision to be coached by CCM.

Merry Christmas. Here's to hoping for more and more of this type of banter. It never gets old and I wish it were included in every thread. If I knew how to capture Tebow tebowing I would add that on here as well. Once again, Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Freedom of religion (or lack thereof) is your choice man. Just because an athelete states his belief or discusses his faith I don't consider it "God talk". Believe it or not, many of these guys not only talk the talk but also walk the walk. Merry CHRISTmas to you brother....

How about Jarnell had everything to do with coming here. His Girlfriend, brother and best friend reside in Knoxville which helps, but ultimately it boiled down to his decision.

It's not just you man, but I live in the south so I'm used to it. There is a time and place for everything, but the worst of the worst think everything has to do with religion.

what's most pathetic is I bet money any "true" christian on this board doesn't even know the real meaning of christmas, you know the winter solstice, gay sex in rome, those kinds of things that were hundreds of years before christians took it over by stealing a german myth as St. Nicholas.
