There's some of that trademark Christian tolerance!
May I offer some advice, and your response to this will be very telling. If you don't like the pro-Christian agenda of certain athletes (or posters for that matter), it is best to ignore it. It is ironic that you are calling for tolerance while stating that you are "tired of all the God talk". Is that not the definition of intolerance?
This is not a forum for people to push their anti-religious views. If you don't like it, ignore it, but don't stoke (no pun intended) the fire with comments that you know are going to draw the ire of posters who hold dear to their religious values. That accomplishes nothing. Let's keep it about basketball.
I'm not attacking you. Just offering some perspective. I hope you take it that way.
Not to get too far off track here, but if you believe that everything just happened by chance, that somewhere, sometime, long long ago matter just appeared for no apparent reason, an explosion happened, and our planet just happened by chance to fall into the perfect spot to sustain life, where small bacteria like amoebas later "tarnsformed" into horses, dogs, humans, etc., and considering all of this as theory and not fact, then yall need a whole lot more faith than i do. I can simply say, God created the heavens and the earth and called it good, God created man in his own image and called it good, and God created a plan of salvation by sending his only son to die on a cross as a sufficient sacrifice for our sins after the fall of man. That makes a whole lot more sense to me than a story about pure luck and chance. Thank you and Merry Christmas. Go Vols!!
