I understand the SEC is rough but..

The OP questioned Bama and UF getting a breather before their in-state rival game.

Your breather IS your in-state rival game. Kinda hard to throw stones imo....that was my point.

As for the smack comment, it wasn't directed as you as much as the OP.

You play Vandy as many times as we do, just sayin.

Not really. I would like to see UF go out of state every once in awhile though.

Then what are we talking about? :lolabove:

I wouldn't mind picking up a home-and-home with Miami or another quality BCS opponent, but the BCS likes our SEC+FSU schedule, so why mess with it?

Well, I pointed out that UT generally doesn't play FCS schools and you gave me a smart ass congratulations post and then made the Vandy comment.

You'll have to forgive me.

I get cranky when my jorts start fitting a little tighter than normal.

Jorts getting tighter? Dude, if you're pitching a tent, don't let us know. Keep that to yourself. TMI

Eh, it's viewed as a in-state battle, not a cupcake game. If we were to schedule GA State, it'd be different. In state just looks like we're trying to get around the state, since we already play memphis and vandy.

Ummm, no. Nobody seriously views it as an "in state battle" and it's the very definition of a cupcake game.

Shameful for Bama to have scheduled that game with Ga St. JMHO.

Nah.

I expect Auburn to be pretty tough this year. Their open date of course is the week before playing us. If we're fortunate enough to still be in the hunt for the SECW when the Auburn game rolls around, we don't want to have to play a toughie the week prior to Auburn. We need a GA State or LA-Monroe in that slot.

Oh... wait a minute... :eek:hmy:

Us playing UTM may ultimately screw us this year because I-AA wins down count towards bowl eligibility which means we need to win 7
