If we cant run the ball Bray will have to throw. Im sure your aware of the athletes you have. One of which is by some accounts making his own heisman campaign. we couldnt run block Floridas D-Line (which i am taking no credit from). What makes you think UT can block a line with the likes A. Johnson, Minko, and the other horses you have. Tennessee will move the ball but yards wont come like they did against Buffalo..

If you watched LSU this year, the games were real close until the opposition turned the ball over in the second half, then LSU pounded them.

LSU's offense is much improved but stats wise it might not look like it, however with that in mind they have not had pressure in the second half of games to really score.

Don't turn the ball over and make LSU beat you with the pass early in the count, keep it close and see if LSU's offense can move the ball late in the game when they have to. And whatever you do, keep on an eye on Mathieu because he is just a turnover machine.

Exactly the man I was referring to...

Im not expecting a win, I cursed the Florida game that way. I just hope we can keep it within 10.

Mathieu is just not right in a good way. People thought I was nuts when I said LSU might actually improve in the secondary even with Peterson leaving. Always keep an eye on Mathieu, the numbers are no joke, chances are if given an opportunity to make a play he will eventually.

I think not being able to run the ball is not as important against LSU as it might be against Alabama. LSU plays the field position game until the other team snaps, so they are beatable. The real problem with facing LSU is the shear size of their depth, LSU I believe has played 78 players this year and are solid 2 deep at every position if not 3 deep at some.

Everything but the OL. Josh Dworaczyk was lost before the year for the year. There have been some one game injuries on the OL that has helped in giving younger players some experience. I would say the OL is still solid and people can be moved around to give the appearance of 2 deep but not 3 deep.

The DL could have 4-5 guys go down and you probably wouldn't see a drop off in production, the OL is not the same especially with Josh out for the year. As far as I am concerned, the football season starts tomorrow against Florida, weekly SEC grind, hopefully avoid a lose.

The only way UT has a chance is if we screwed up the system. Miles puts everything on his Defense and begs Lee not to screw it up. If we find a way to screw it up we could have a slight shot...

I think Tenn will keep it close the first half. LSU's O usually starts slow. However, in the second half, LSU's run game will start to take over after wearing down UT's D, just like they have all season. I am interested to see how the secondary (other than TM) do against this passing game. I actually picked Tennessee to win in my preseason picks, but losing Hunter changed that entirely.

OT: No, I don't want to see JJ starting. Lee has managed the game, not turned the ball over much at all, and is getting more and more confident with the receivers. Also, I don't know if yall heard, but JJ sure did get booed pretty badly when he came in against Kentucky. Not that Les has ever listened to the fans (thank goodness in some cases), but LSU fans will be LIVID if he starts JJ.
