I talk basketball with plenty of third parties. I coach and therefore share opinions with other coaches all the time. Bouldin and Day are every big athletic enough that it does not hamper their game.

If Bouldin were remotely an athlete he could contribute at the next level. He clearly has the skill and the savvy to do so, but he won't.

Daye will, but it's a size thing, not athleticism.

Size and athleticism go together. For his size, Day is athletic. So you cant say he will go just for his size and not because he is athletic. Its not like he is 7'2 where he can get away with having very little athletic ability.

Blake Griffin makes Daye look like Shawn Bradley. Daye is not particularly athletic and that's why Tyler Smith shut him down. He can't beat people to create shots, he gets pushed around on the boards and he's a terrible one on one defender. He's tall with long arms, decent handle and good shooter. NBA benches are full of that guy.

Chris Lofton is more athletic that Bouldin. I think Daye is decently athletic... but nothing close to Pargo's level. He's really long though with a big wing span which is his biggest asset to go along with his 6'11 frame.

he started to in his junior and senior seasons. It was all the rave around here in the CLo's going pro discussions.

That said, Jordan Howell could get to the hole with the D that JP Prince plays.

I must have missed that last year. However, my point was that Lofton is not a better athlete. Perhaps the same.

At this point in time, I don't think he's going to be leaving Memphis. There are a couple of jobs he'd strongly consider taking and one might open up this year, but I think he likes what he's doing right now and he's the king where he is. Memphis appreciates what they have in him.
