And say that Cuonzo Martin will not only turn Tennessee basketball around next year, but he will most likely have Tennessee competing in the top three of the SEC in the final standings. Regardless of what I think, next year will tell the tale for Cuonzo and company.

As long as nothing as big as our best player missing the entire season happens again, I agree.

If we can't win next year with all of our pieces, Martin will have to go. Until then people need to sit tight, CHILL THE F*** OUT, and cheer on the Vols.

I wish this site would check the IP address and only allow one screen name. That way people wouldn't be able to create new accounts or change their name and act like they knew it all along. I can honestly say my name has never changed on here, nor will it.

Martin is going to have to not only win next year, but also use it to improve recruiting. There are a lot of juniors and seniors on the current roster who will be gone by the end of next season, and no one knows when Stokes will turn professional. I am a lot more nervous about 2014-15 than 2013-14. If the next season is not a success, the season that follows will truly be rock bottom.

Are you implying that I'm the reincarnation of another poster? I am not.

Yes, this will be one of the more challenging recruiting slates UT has had in a while. I believe you're 100% correct to be more worried about 2015 than 14.

Ha ha. That was to you, but not at you. Just conversing about the people needing to chill and how they act like they didn't support Martin ever, and if/when he succeeds next year, they'll say they did.

Landry starting as a freshman? I thought the impression on here was that his ability to even compete in the SEC is in doubt.

Simply put, this team has been a disappointment. But given our history with buyouts and coaching changes, I honestly believe CCM will return for at least 1 additional season following next year, regardless of the results. I.e. we could go .500 and miss the dance next year and Hart will probably bring him back for a 4th and final year.

Not saying I agree with the position but after dropping $5mil on Dooley, I just don't see Hart writing another 1-2 million dollar check for CCM & staff.

I hope you are right. If this happens, then I Will gladly admit I was wrong about CM. he needs to win a game or 2 in the tourney to call it a successful season. Just making the dance is not good enough anymore.
