Because someone is going the easy button. Might as well be us. Winning is winning. No one will care in 5 years who you had to beat to win. Just beat whoever is in front of you. If it's Coppin State, then great. If it's Duke, then that sucks, but go beat them.

This ^^^ the “I want the best of the best” posts are so dumb. If that’s the case why try to get the 1 seed, hope for as low as a seed as possible so it’s more difficult for you. Every team that makes it to the end is talented but also got some breaks along the way, you take any of those breaks you can get. If that’s avoiding a team that really strong as long as possible, or totally you take it if you can get it and deal with it if you don’t.

I think people are discounting just how good BYU is. Seen a lot of our fans wanting their matchup. Personally, I think it would be a brutal 2nd round game, but there aren’t going to be many easy games after the first round anyway. BYU is very good though.

Texas Tech is a team that I would rather avoid early. Beat Houston once and gave them all they wanted the second game. The second game was also without their second and third leading scorer's playing.

They also had their top two scorers missing in the game they won at Houston. The Red Raiders are a dangerous team.

sounds pretty crazy but of the 4 potential 4 seed we could see in the sweet 16 Clemson,Michigan, Missouri, Texas Tech. I think I'd take Tech over the others, Michigan ruined our season 3 years ago and Missouri is a bad matchup for us and knows us well

The CBS sports bracketology has us as a 1 with BYU and UCONN in the 8/9 game. That’s no joke. No 1 seed wants UConn in that round of 32 game. That would be a knockdown drag out fight . Danny Hurley is a psycho, they won’t go quietly.

Yep. Their style is the one we struggle with. Kentucky, Mizzou, Vandy. Constant movement on offense. Efficient. BYU is not who we wanna see.

I want to avoid any game with Mich St. Hopefully someone puts them out before we get them. I personally think Izzo is the best tournament coach in the country. He take an average team and wins. If he has talent, watch out.

I picked Michigan State to win it all the year they lost to MTSU. went to St Pattys day in Columbia and listened to the game in my car, I think it was one of the first games of the day and my bracket busted on day 1. I remember getting really wasted that night from depression
