Three out of their last four wins have been less than desirable. They are good but they are not world beaters and can be beat.

Pending the Colts or Chargers play them I believe both of them can beat the Pats.

Two of those games have been in horrific playing conditions as well.

That doesn't really matter when you have an offense on fire. For a team that has scored less than 30 three times is pretty impressive. It's not about the patriots stopping anyone, I think its more about who can stop the patriots.

Scoring 13 points against a bad Jets defense does not constitute being on fire...

They should have lost to the Ravens too who were just beat by the winless Dolphins...they are not unbeatable...

I'm willing to bet the playing condition in Foxboro in the middle of January are going to be pretty bad as well.

I agree, and the Pats are showing the can win in horrible weather. That was what I saw as their one weakness. Can they win in windy/snowy conditions where Brady can't just sit back and make great throws all night. From what I saw yesterday in highlights, the Jets game, while close, wasn't really a nail biter. I will admit the Ravens game was insane though.

I'll agree with this however the two teams they played aren't exactly the Chargers or the Colts. It remains to be seen and I wouldn't mind seeing them go undefeated even though I do not care whatsoever for them.

I believe I remember VFB saying this somewhere, that they are a winning team in Foxborough when it snows. And thats probably because a team used to playing in those conditions vs a team in a dome or in California will fair out just fine.

A win is a win regardless of who should of, who could of, etc. They are going to go to the playoffs without a loss. Kudos to them for doing that.

my only issue with that is Peyton's record in bad weather games. The Bolts will probably fair better in crappy Foxboro weather than this banged up Colts team IMO.

I'm really not concerned with the Pats after week 17. Brady only getting me 3 points this week in FF didn't help anything. Either way, I'm in the two-week Championship game, so here's to hoping he lights it up. Of course, my competitor has both Moss and Welker, so i'm hoping to see lots of Gaffney, Stallworth, and Watson receptions these next two weeks. Even throw it to Maroney out of the backfield.

No but you complain that they win games that they shouldn't have. Thats why they are good. :) I know its tough to see teams you hate win, I'd feel the same way if this were the cowboys, but it will be okay! :birgits_giggle:

They beat the Ravens because Rex Ryan called an stupid timeout, which in fact shouldn't have been allowed because only the head coach can call a TO from the sideline...

Second the holding calling the endzone was about as ticky tac as you can get...

There's no doubt that was holding. It was blatantly obvious. No one would ever get away with that call.

I don't get it.

The Rex Ryan thing is a Fact and I saw the holding as a no call...

I just got finished saying that I wouldn't mind seeing the Patriots win out...what more do you want?

Yep, and when they start calling Randy Moss for offensive interference every time he does it, they can call that hold all day.

all WRs get away with more than DBs. My buddy calls it the Peyton Manning rule. It's been in effect for about 5 years to make the game "more exciting". Randy Moss is FAR from the only receiver that gets away with it. I don't like it, but it is what it is. In fact, I hate it. But for everything else they've called the past few years, that was an obvious hold.

Randy Moss is just the most glaring example this year. Everytime Tom Brady puts the ball up deep, if Randy Moss isn't WIDE open, he pushes off.

Ask the Colts what the league's best offense can do for you in the playoffs if your defense is crap.
