If Alabama gets in over y'all, it's an unfair disgrace...

Yeah that was a clear TD.
I actually was talking about the other play when they should have moved the ball to the 5 inch line; on the other play the camera was not over the goal line therefore it was hard to tell if he got over the line or not.

The main hosing was by their own coach calling stupid plays.
I know what you mean; we did the same things many times in 2021. Luckily this year we learned we can line up under center and run a QB sneak. Not to mention, the naked bootleg will work every time in that situation.

Bama won't get in. TCU lost in overtime in their championship game they will drop to 4th. Georgia's drubbing of LSU closed any door Bama had. Everyone needs to learn two terms. SOS and SOR. What happens to people you matters. LSU is becoming less and less of a good loss for them. I'm fact the way Georgia drubbed them could lead to UT jumping to number 5 over Bama. Which would put us in the Sugar Bowl which kinda sucks because the idea of got orange on orange action in the orange bowl was sounding exciting.

The committee with probably not flip it but they just might. Either way I don't see TVU falling further down than 4 with OSU taking the 3 spot. Money is involved and they don't want a sec vs sec and big10 vs big 10 matchup. It's bad for ratings because that would piss a lot of fans off. I know to an SEC fan it sounds strange but most people outside of the SEC hate us and think we are the bad guys. Same with big10 to a lesser extent. If they let Bama or TN in at 4thay means the playoffs would be round one SEac vs SEC and big10 vs big10. That would suck in ratings because most people not attached to those conferences and rivalries would tune out.

Trust me once they dodged the bullet with UT losing to USCjr they were rooting for USC and TCU to win out. They can't justify keeping USC in but they have a semi logical argument keeping TCU in and TCU vs Georgia in first round will have higher rating than UGA Bama that's a tired matchup. Nothing they can do about Michigan vs OSU but at least that's a good story line they can sell and people will swallow it. This stuff is all about money in the end. Thankfully the 12 team playoff is at hand and we are in good position to contend for a spot in it for the foreseeable future.

Make me so irritated seeing him on the halftime show. Said teams who lose big at the end of the season are worse than his squad losing two road games when Bryce wasn’t healthy. What a cuhnt.

On top of the fact they don’t really have any quality wins.

Seems obvious. Y'all beat them and beat the the other team that beat them.
The loss to South Carolina is when we fell behind Bama. Ater that beatdown in Columbia, this playoff talk has all been pipedream stuff...Other teams and their bunglings can't erase our loss to the Gamecocks.

Bonus points for anyone who realizes that after UGA totally whipped our offense, we were not that big of a threat to atually win the National Title anymore. Barely managed a touchdown folks.

Nah, TCU just picked up a signature close loss. The committee loves those. 1 loss for a combined 3 pts, Bama had 2 for 4pts, clearly TCU is better.

I don't know how the members will view losing in a championship game in an inferior conference and offsetting your only quality win with a loss to the same team when it mattered more. Did they consider this game a play-in opportunity for TCU? Don't know. I think it is possible they will prop up TCU to avoid Bama getting in and the uproar of defending Bama over us with the graphic of the 5 criteria in their documentation. Some outlets will PROBABLY go there for the clicks and eyeballs, not a love of the VOLS.

Thanks Super. I truly think it should be TCU in, even with the loss. It would be a joke if Bama got in over them, and a disgrace if Bama got in over us. Truth is, I don't think us or Bama deserve to be in it over TCU.

If South Carolina moves ahead of LSU in the college football rankings then we should get in ahead of Alabama. Our losses would be to 2 better teams than theirs, and our win over them should cinch it. The TCU debate is different, they played a bunch of mid ranked teams and don't have one great win but a bunch of good to average wins. They also don't have a conference championship but they played in the game. If the SEC was organized like the Big 12 then we would have also played in the conference championship game. I say go VOLS and prepare to get a New Year 6 bowl, and beat the crap out of whoever we play. This should be a lesson to us to take care of our own business and this crap can't happen to us again. That being said it's soooooo much fun to be back in the conversation for the playoffs and New Year 6 Bowls. Congratulations to the Vols on a marvelous year and many more to come.

Makes me sick.. Marty just was on SportsCenter talking and he's in Bama talking about what Saban has said that they should be in... MAKE IT MAKE SENSE on how Bama has a 23% chance to make the Playoffs and we don't have a shot!!! Yes, I know the SC loss but damn it still doesn't. Marty asked Saban what about TN and that little man said "he doesn't talk about other teams". He is so FOS!!!! At this point this $h!t is hella rigged!!!!! Go Big Orange!!!

Why in the hell do any of you think that the Bamers, a 2 loss team, are leaping over two 1 loss teams and getting in to the playoffs? The playoff committee would have a major mob on its hands.
Your point makes perfect sense and I hope you are right, but the committee loves the flavor of Saban's a$$..

What, are you just now realizing that? :p

Seriously though...just par for the course. It almost makes me want them to get in and then get blown out. I guess maybe that could happen in the bowl game, but likely they face...who...KSU? They would have to play pretty poorly in N'awlins to lose to most any B12 team other than TCU.

I know a lot of people will say bama would dominate TCU, but IDK. That's a pretty gritty TCU team that typically finds a way to win.

I wouldn’t dismiss KState so quickly. I went to that game yesterday. They are a very well-coached, solid football team…the opposite of Alabama.

Alabama will (and should) be a considerable favorite. But if they have a lot of players sitting out and don’t come ready to play, I can see an upset.

Don't worry, TCU is in. In fact they got hosed about as bad as we usually do. Anybody who watched the end of that game knows that.

Why do you say that? There was nothing showing the ball crossed before his knee was down. Looked pretty obvious he was down before he reached it out.

I’m so glad we adjusted by adding the under center package. Even when it wasn’t a sneak we weren’t running out of shotgun. LSU needs to learn that lesson.

You're right, but the ball should have been moved to the five inch line after the first review; all they did was move it a few inches forward. It's not guaranteed they would have won the game by any means, but I don't like teams getting screwed, even after a review.

Well if he did not get greedy and go for two a couple of times vs LSU he wouldn't have to be campaigning.
If Saban would've run the ball against UT, instead of throwing twice on that last possession, he gives his kicker a shorter kick and leaves no time on the clock. GOAT gets a free pass for some seriously dumb decisions.

Yeah, but one of those plays worked and they didn’t execute properly. Could have been game over. Asking your defense to prevent a game winning drive for 14 seconds isn’t a huge ask, either.
