to go coach the Nets, would that be worse than the Kiffin situation? They only have four to five scholarship players returning, and depending on the timing it could be even worse for recruiting reasons.

Didn't he learn from the last time he went to coach the Nets? They weren't any good back then either. Also, hasn't Billy Donovan already turned down Kentucky before or was he ever offered?

If not Donovan, then I could see Kentucky bringing home Travis Ford, who did a solid job at UMass and is building a good program at Oklahoma State.

i don't understand why Cal keeps trying the pros. Everyone pays their players in the Pros...he loses his advantage.

Yes, Donovan has turned UK down twice. Once after accepting. Kinda doubt they would pursue him again.

Travis Ford would definitely get some consideration. Tom Izzo would at least be contacted, doubt he would be interested.

The rest of the SEC couldn't be so lucky as for UK to hire Travis Ford.

Cal is staying at Kentucky, for now. He will only leave shortly before Probabtion is handed to the Cats and claim he knew nothing.

Kentucky sold their soul when they hired Cal.....just a matter of time before it all comes crashing down.

Yeah considering Kiffin posted the 3rd worst record in the past 17 years, and got manhandled by Beamer in the bowl game

I have doubts about that whole game. To many things make me believe they knew they were going to bail so they didnt plan well.

No, they did as well as they could. They were just outplayed by better coaches.

I doubt it happens, but if it does, they'll end up with Billy Donovan.

He has done turned it down twice. With Cal getting the one and done players it would hurt Ky. lmao Hope he does leave, but i do not think he will.

Donovan turned down Orlando after accepting, not UK. He turned down UK the first time around when they settled on Gilliespe. Don't think they made
overtures last year probably b/c he was already making $3.5mil and the post chamionship seasons didn't warrant going above that.

Yeah, Kiffin told Moore to drop that pass. Im sure Kiffin knew the 4 coaches who were offered before him would turn it down.

Looks like the Cal to Nets rumor has some legs. Mikhail Prokhorov said he wants to bring in a coach who attracts talent... Also, the dots are starting to connect..

Nets - Prokhorov - Jay Z - Dynasty - Lebron - Calipari - 1st pick - John Wall - Kentucky loses once again
