if Charlie Strong was hired for UT, what would be his staff you think?

My guess would be:

Head Coach: Charlie Strong

Offense Coord: Jim Chaney

QB Coach: Shawn Watson (brought him from fla to UL)

OL Coach: Sam Pittman

RB Coach: Kenny Carter (brought him from fla to UL)id rather have Jay Graham

TE Coach: Jay Graham (coached te's&rb's uscjr in 2011)

WR coach: Tee Martin or could be Darin Hinshaw. I'd rather have Tee though. Maybe even Trooper taylor

Defense coord: Vance Bedford possibly(he brought him from fla to UL) I hope its someone better but he can't be worse than Sal Sunseri last yr.

DL Coach: Clint Hurtt

LB coach: ??? dunno who the lb coach will be??? sal sunseri will go back to bama and be a lb coach when lance thompson gets promoted to dc after k smart leaves for a head coaching job somewhere.

CB coach: ??????? dunno

Secondary coach: Larry Slade

Special teams coach:Kenny Carter (brought him from fla to UL)

Hopeful to get tee and i think trooper is coach cancer at this point w the Memphis crap down at auburn

Larry Slade? Really?

Shawn Watson is straight WCO from Colorado and Nebraska, not Florida.

I think this list is terrible.

he doesn't need to bring anyone with him from louisville especially the guy from miami's recruiting scandal. ohhh this is going to really really make me wanna start drinking.

i was wrong on shawn watson so i think oc will be jim chaney then.


larry slade i didnt know who and obviously he didnt know who to bring in ul so he will probably bring him back here.

Not hatin' on Strong but how does Arky pull Brett Bielima(sp?) from Wisconsin and we get Strong ????? WTF ????

Because Strong is the better coach. Wisconsin would have never played in Big 10 Championship game is both Penn State and Ohio State were eligable.

Man stop worrying about how big of a name Strong is a good coach. Check his resume please. I promise you he has been the key piece in more national championships than a lot of guys

Bielesma should have stayed in Wisconsin. He was at the top last several years there (asterisk on this season due to Buckeyes probation), but will have a harder challenge at Arky having no Southern recruiting experience.

I like Chaney but he needs to implement a heavy ground game. The high flying stuff is good but a well balanced offence is better

Completely agree. I'm not sold on Strong as a HC and think Arkansas pulled a major home run there with their hire. If we get Strong, I'd say it's a ground rule double at best.

Umm.. isn't that well in excess of the number of coaches the NCAA allows you to have?

And Trooper? Really? Have you missed where the NCAA is about to put him through a full body cavity search?
