if Charlie Strong was hired for UT, what would be his staff you think?

He needs to develop an SEC worthy staff a lot of the guys at UL are not SEC quality assistants! But I think he will figure it out!!

Arky pulled Bielesma because they have a better budget IMO. Our AD is a financial nightmare, and that might be a problem negotiating. Yes I'm sure the boosters will kick in, but it still doesn't look good when your flat broke.

I like Chaney but he needs to implement a heavy ground game. The high flying stuff is good but a well balanced offence is better

Everyone assumes Chaney throws a lot because he loves it. He throws a lot because UT's RBs have been average to good and because he has a QB he can flat out sling it. Oh, and our defense has not been giving us the short fields required to play Bama's offense. I think he would run 60% of the time if we had the tools.

I agree. I'm fairly sure he would love to run the ball a lot more, but when you have a QB like Bray, you wanna try and sling it out there. It's stupid not trying to play to your strengths.

You'd be lucky to get half his staff from Louisville and yet you're pining for these current scrubs to be held over from the old regime? Why don't you just re-hire Dooley. Bedford and Carter are incredible minds with Bedford on track to replace Strong had he not went to UL as well while they were at Florida.

If we have to settle for strong, I hope we at least do not have to take his 2nd tier assistants and probably double their pay and buyouts. I really wish that we could at least get better assistants than the current crop at UL.
