If ESPN makes sweet offer to Gruden to stay on board.

Its possible. ESPN sees him as thier next "John Madden" they will protect thier investment imo. We will see what happens.

ESPN has zero incentive to do this. If Gruden wants to coach, he'll leave. They know. They knew this when he signed on. Same thing with Bill Cowher and CBS.

Oh really? Okay I'll edit my post too. Bill cowher is NOT Jon Gruden. Jon Gruden is great at sportscasting maybe better than he was at coaching. They absolutely see him as the modern day John Madden. Those are their words.

Not saying that this will happen. Just saying.

That's right I'm not a JG groupie!! Just because he has a SB ring don't mean **** to me. A smart football fan will see and understand why he is not a good fit for college football. Not some popularity contest just because you see him on MNF every week!!

Grizz would hit it.

Seriously. I would take Stoops, Gundy, and Shaw over Gruden. But Gruden would energize this fan base like no other

Oh really?

Really. Why would they throw more money at him than they already are? Is Jon Gruden really going to make more people watch MNF?

If he gets the itch to go coach somewhere (like most have been saying for a hile), he'll leave. Simple as that. Not really seeing how ESPN benefits by offering him substantially more money.

A smart football fan would see how he would be a great fit for college football.

When you see someone as fiery and enthused as he is coaching kids you'll understand. He talks crazy to people and honestly that doesn't fly that well in the NFL (hence why some of the player hated him. Warren Sapp included). In college he can get any team fired up to play their hearts out and is an amazing X's and O's guy. He is one of the few NFL coaches that I think would make a great college coach and that is mainly because of his personality. If you can ever watch a video of him coaching then you'll see what I mean when I say I would be excited as hell to see him roaming our sidelines.

If you add that on top of the fact that he would be an amazing recruiter with his name recognition and NFL success then you have a great combination for a coach. Also he will most likely have a great staff of coordinators combined with the best facilities in the country.

Cross stoops off the list. Next three aren't bad. I'm a Fedora fan myself if worse comes to worst. But man I sure hope we get Gruden

And that is according to who?

Obviously that is my opinion sir. But i would believe that it is shared by literally anyone who has seen MNF with kornhieser or miller at the helm. I can Guarantee you that ratings with gruden are as high as they have ever been.
