I don't want to get into a bidding war with anyone for him. I was having this conversation last night, if Gruden only coaches for money and nothing else. If he says he will come to UT and then Arkansas offers him more and he will go there if we don't exceed the offer, at some point we have to let him go right? Would you rather have Gruden if he is only here for money, or another good/great hire who has real interest in the University? Not to say Gruden doesn't appreciate our tradition, but if he is only here to get paid doesn't that mean he would leave for anywhere who would pay more?
