And like I said before, pop-culture polls mean nothing when it comes to the US Constitution. Our Founding Father's gave legal power only to the official elections...not any other poll. People that want their opinions to carry legal weight can vote in the elections.

Please respect the framework our Founding Fathers gave us, thank you.

I personally think that some of the melodramatic posts in this thread are pretty funny. The end of the democratic party, the downfall of the US, etc. I just don't see that sort of assessment. I also don't see how this bill could be viewed as the victory that some others are making it out to be.

Well they passed the thing. They showed Nancy and her band of assclowns... all smiles. When can she be voted out of office? I've seen enough of the wicked witch from the west to last a lifetime. Not one single republican voted for this bill. Hope and change might as well be, " We'll do what we like and make you like it".

She can be voted out this year, but she will not be. Those nuts in San Fransico will never vote that little socialist witch out, however if the Rs can take back the house then she will go back to being just another rep.

Democrats are going to be punch drunk after November. They shoved a bill down the peoples throat we clearly were not in favor of. They think they know what's best for us, screw them. The way they're running things you would think this is the old Soviet Union or China.

They did the same thing with the wasteful stimulus bill they shoved down our throats. This is the most wreckless, spend happy government we've ever had. China will own the rest of this joint if these idiots stay in power much longer.

didn't matter if the thing passed or not the future is dark for america regardless. ohio is pretty much dead they are cutting people anyplace they can and raising taxes like it is free. eventhough nobody is working. we need all new leadership at the top, screw dems and republicans, i want to see some americans in there.

right before i left work i had the tv on the news, well the today show came on and one of the today show "reporters" said that this is what the people wanted, and that the Dems came thru for us. gtfo, meredith then said "but the polls show that the people clearly didn't want it". it was just a weird interview

The assumptions, that were given the CBO to score with, are all rosey and pie in the sky.
It DOES matter that they passed this. It will cause the recovery to take far longer than if they just stayed the hell out of the way.

I'm not into too much conspiracy theory, but the dumb dumbs have done a pretty good job of getting a strangle hold on anything that made money in this country. If i didn't know any better it's almost like a systematic take over. Car industry, Banks, Big insurance, Housing, now Heath Care. Scary stuff right there.
