I'm sure he would love for us to offer . . . so he could make a public show of turning us down and talk about how Vanderbilt is the best football program in the state and the only place he wants to be.

You can always follow what ever team Dooley coaches next.

And as always I will just like with Majors, Cutcliff, Sanders, Trooper, Chief, Tee and several others. Just because it is working out you dont have to be a hater! Derek Dooley has done some good things at Tennessee as well. He!! he will probably glad to get away from fans that hate like you!

Co-head coaches? Hmmmmmm....

Both are good coordinators. Chavis does not want to be HC. Cutcliffe is probably not "the" HC.

It sure would fire up former players like Peyton etc. I would love the celebrity thing of Gruden, but it just seems like a long shot and whole bunch of cash. Chavis has probably earned a pretty hefty buyout though.

Hubbs on Cutcliffe and Chavis: "Chavis and Cutcliffe won't be on the same staff. I don't see that reunion. I have heard Cutcliffe's name, but I don't get the sense that he would be at the top of the list."

Sounds very unlikely.
