If we do go after an up-and-comer, how about a coach with a longer track record of sucess then 3 season and a .600 winning percentage in a terrible conference.

Exactly.

We fired a World Series Baseball coach, BCS Champ football coach, and Elite 8 Basketball coach.

All replaced with guys who were up-and-comer russian roulette guys.

I agree, love this hire. Get over it people, Brad Stephens wasn't coming and I'm not sure if this want be a better hire down the road. I love it that he's young and love it that he's a black coach. All the message boards on the Mizzo sites , ( people who know him )were wanting Mizzo to hire him saying he will be able to bring in top talent, saying he's a great recruiter. He played in the NBA, kids will eat this up. I thought A.Grant of Alabama was a great hire for them and wanted him, but after researching over Martin, he can be even better for us.

Sure, I just finished having a great run to the final four with my current team. What's that? Tennessee wants me to come coach their three returning players on probation for the next two years. Somebody call the moving company for me and i will go their from Houston!
